Chapter 111 I am the rule

After settling their affairs, the two parted ways as they left the bubble tea shop.

Around 4 p.m., Zhang Ailun was riding his bicycle around his property when he received a message from Jennifer.

Jennifer: A few Black men and a white lawyer came to our camp and said they wanted to talk to you.

Zhang Ailun: What is their attitude?

Jennifer: They're being quite polite. Did you take anything from them? What happened?

Zhang Ailun: Let's keep them calm for now, and then we'll talk when Sieg and I get back.

Jennifer: No problem!

Zhang Ailun immediately notified Sieg, urging him to come home quickly.

Sieg sent him a photo.

Click to enlarge the photo. The two people in the photo are arm in arm, seemingly at Officer Miguel's private residence. The other person's injuries are recovering well.

Sieg: Done! Jon's case has been preliminarily determined, and the trial will begin tomorrow morning.

Zhang Ailun: Okay, come back quickly, Jon's business partner has come knocking.

Sig: Understood. I've already sent the others back to camp as quickly as possible.

Zhang Ailun put away his phone and rode his bicycle to the bridge-hole camp base camp.

When I got back to the camp, I saw an unfamiliar silver Chevrolet parked on the side of the road.

Several Black people and a middle-aged white man were sitting on portable stools, talking to their fellow campers. They were chatting and laughing, appearing to be good friends.

One of them was a bald Black man wearing sunglasses, with well-developed pectoral muscles and strong arm muscles, and he was also carrying a tactical chest bag.

He leaned against the car without saying a word, just looking at the blue sky and white clouds, chewing gum.

He also noticed Zhang Ailun riding his bicycle towards the camp immediately.

Zhang Ailun became secretly alert.

Jennifer turned around and saw Zhang Ailun, immediately waving and walking over, "Hey! Hamburger! You're finally back. Someone's looking for you."

Zhang Ailun parked the car to the side, looked at the group of Black men, and asked, "They didn't give you any trouble, did they? Are you the only one at the camp now? Where's Lori?"

"He and Simone went to work, doing that discount coupon business. We had a great chat. Don't you believe in my abilities?" Jennifer said with a confident smile, "No man can resist me. Don't you think my clothes are nice?"

She blinked and tossed her hair back. She wore a white short-sleeved shirt with a pink teddy bear print, and slim-fit jeans that perfectly accentuated her waist-to-hip ratio.

"How did you spend your time with those two pretty girls from Eastern Ukraine yesterday?"

Good news doesn't travel far, but bad news travels fast. Damn it, Sig, how is the Grand Master supposed to handle this?

Zhang Ailun replied without changing his expression, "It's alright."

"How does it compare to my skills?" Jennifer pressed.

Zhang Ailun glanced at her pink lips and said honestly, "Not as strong as you."

"I knew it!" That damn woman's competitive nature. Jennifer happily punched him.

Haven't you eaten?

Zhang Ailun rubbed his arm, wanting to say something, but still walked towards the group as if nothing had happened.

Not wanting to lose face, Zhang Ailun pulled out his DG sunglasses, put them on, swept his hair back, and strode off with an air of nonchalance. "Hey! You're the ones looking for me? What's up, guys? I make hundreds of dollars a minute, I don't have time to waste with you. If you have something to say, say it! If not, get out of my territory."

"Hello, you must be Mr. Juan King?" The middle-aged white man in a suit smiled slightly and politely extended his hand. "I am the legal counsel for Atel Refrigeration Company."

"Yatel Refrigeration Company, what does that do? Refrigeration? Or ice cream? Sorry, I don't think I've ever heard of it." Zhang Ailun answered casually, pulled up a stool, sat down, and crossed his legs.

Jennifer stood obediently and sensibly behind him, massaging his shoulders and back, and showing him concern and care.

As Zhang Ailun kneaded her smooth, delicate hands, Jennifer chuckled and simply sat on his lap.

Several black men watched with envy.

"We mainly deal in pork, not a big company, just a small workshop, nothing to brag about." The white lawyer chuckled. "We also contract out some transportation services and have partnerships with many gangs and manufacturers on the streets."

"If it's smuggling, then it's smuggling. Why bother with the transportation business?"

Zhang Ailun directly exposed their main business, waving his hand: "Don't worry, we're all in the same boat. I won't gossip and report you. Appearance is indeed important. Actually, we're just homeless vagrants, sometimes hungry, sometimes full."

"Mr. Jin, you're too modest. How could an ordinary homeless person have such a large territory and influence? We saw quite a few of your people on our way here, as well as street graffiti. We've also heard a little about the work that the scavenger team does, and perhaps we'll have the opportunity to cooperate more deeply in the future," the white lawyer said with a smile.

Zhang Ailun chuckled, showing little interest in the suggestion, and focused intently on touching his leg, looking like a tyrant.

Seeing this, the white lawyer stopped rambling and said directly, "Yesterday, an old friend of ours suddenly went missing. After inquiring, we learned that he had been arrested by the police, and his territory was disbanded and swallowed up by you. Our boss also remembered that there was still a score to settle with him in the company."

"What does this have to do with me?" Zhang Ailun said impatiently. "If someone owes you money, go ask them for it. Why are you coming to me? Do you think I've embezzled your money?"

The white lawyer smiled slightly: "That's hard to say."

Zhang Ailun gave a forced smile, pushed Jennifer away, bent down, clasped his hands together, and said in a low voice, "What do you mean by this? I can earn hundreds of dollars in a minute, why would I take your money? I wonder if you butchers can even earn hundreds of dollars per delivery?"

The Black man next to him couldn't help but sneer at his bicycle: "I've never seen a boss live so shabbily. He has to ride a bicycle to get around."

Zhang Ailun glanced at him calmly and said, "Let's forget about business. I'm not interested in your line of work."

"You can reconsider," the white lawyer said. "Otherwise, you'll have to compensate us for our losses, at least three times the price!!"

"Are you threatening me?" Zhang Ailun asked in surprise. "Okay, there are more of you, I'll consider it. Please wait a moment."

He turned back to the RV, took out two guns, tucked one into his back waistband, and put the other in his handbag. Back on the road, he pulled out the gun and chambered a couple of rounds.

"Hey! Negro, what did you just say? I didn't hear you clearly, please repeat it to me!"

The dark, gaping wound pointed at him, and the smile on Old Black's face instantly froze.

"Wowo~ Please calm down, Mr. Kim!! We didn't mean to!!" The white lawyer was startled and quickly stood up to reassure him. Is this how you think about things?

Old Hei was so scared he didn't dare to breathe.

Damn it, you're insane!!

How dare you pull out a gun in broad daylight in the city? Aren't you afraid of being reported or caught by patrolling police officers?

These peasants act without thinking! They don't follow any rules and are quick to overturn the table when things get tough.

Zhang Ailun stated, "I'm not going to talk to you about rules. You don't have a gun, but I do, so I'm the rule."
