Chapter 239 Talented People

After finishing his business, Zhang Ailun kicked Zorro out of the car at the intersection, telling him to take care of his own personal matters before meeting up with Old Jack.

Arriving on the streets of Laredo, I spotted Old Jack and Blitz by the roadside in the distance, so I stopped the car and gave them a ride.

"This is the $25 I earned from selling cryptocurrency." Blitz handed the cash-filled banknotes to the Grand Master.

Zhang Ailun glanced at it and handed it back to him, saying, "Donate this money to the Hamburger Foundation as well. You can start trading stocks now."

"The stock price is currently at $13.2, and it's been fluctuating. There's still a long way to go before the close."

美股的交易时间是周一至周五的盘前凌晨04:00至9:30,盘中早上9:30开盘与下午16:00收盘,同时还有盘后交易时间,在16:00-20:00。即使是收盘也可以在盘后进行买卖操作。

Large funds are expected to enter the market gradually during the early morning trading session, leading to a sharp rise at the opening bell.

Blitz operated the computer while simultaneously using the botnets he controlled to make stock purchases from across the ocean.

"Where is that jewel worth half a million?" Old Jack asked.

"Here." Zhang Ailun casually tossed the golden mask to Old Jack.

"Wow, look at it, it's really beautiful." Old Jack was so fond of it that he put the diamond and gold mask on his face, making it look incredibly ugly.

"What are you going to do with it?" Old Jack asked. "What about that assassin named Zorro?"

"He went to get a loan from the local tycoons and is also planning to make some money in the stock market. Once we get back to Los Angeles, we can just consign this item online to find a buyer." Zhang Ailun wasn't worried about finding a buyer; he could try selling it to Old George at George's Pawnshop first.

"That kid's really lucky. He's made a fortune right after running into you," Old Jack chuckled.

That's right, following the Grand Master, I've never seen anyone lose money. Life is getting better and better.

Zhang Ailun took the two of them on a tour of Laredo, deposited money into a bank account, and most importantly, visited the Rainbow Hotel to familiarize themselves with the terrain and environment.

After dark, they met up with the Beggars' Sect disciples at an American-style restaurant and booked a private room.

Boktu and the others, full of energy and grinning, said, "Today we caught seven or eight people, and handed them all over to the police station. Each one was worth ten thousand dollars, so we made a total of eighty thousand dollars!"

"Those illegal immigrants will either be deported to Mexico or spend their lives in prison. Unless someone pays to bail them out, they will probably never regain their freedom," said a member of the Beggars' Sect.

Zhang Ailun accepted the $8, took $32000 for water, and said contentedly, "Let's eat first. We still have things to do after we eat."

They called over a waiter and ordered some signature dishes, which the Beggars' Sect disciples immediately devoured.

During the meal, Zhang Ailun also told them about making money in the stock market and arranged a cleanup operation targeting the White Horse Group.

Upon hearing this, the group immediately decided to buy the stock on the exchange. Their funds amounted to only tens of thousands of dollars, which wouldn't even make a ripple.

As for the White Horse Group, they could never have imagined that their leader would strike first and ensure that he would never return!

After a satisfying meal, the leader called the restaurant waiter to settle the bill. The meal, including the tip, cost the leader a total of $300. This was the most money he had ever spent on a meal.

Once outside, Zhang Ailun contacted Zorro, a professional. The call was answered quickly.

"Have you finished your business? There's another operation tonight. We'll be leaving Laredo after we're done, and things will get a bit unsettled here," Zhang Ailun said.

"There's never been peace here. How chaotic can it get?" Zorro asked, somewhat puzzled. "What are you planning to do?"

Zhang Ailun sent him the location coordinates, "Come here to meet. I'll assign you a task that suits you."

"OK".

After hanging up the phone, Zhang Ailun instructed Boketu to take a helicopter and be ready to provide assistance at any time.

Blitz said, "Boro's henchmen haven't left those two streets of the high-rise helipad since this morning."

"Don't worry about him. I'll have someone take care of it." Zhang Ailun smiled.

Zorro quickly arrived on the street in his Chevrolet, got out to meet them, and, looking at the fully armed men beside him, paused, "What exactly are you planning to do?"

"You're Zorro the Death Gunner?" Old Jack looked him over a few times, but couldn't see anything unusual about him.

Zorro, however, could tell at a glance that he was no ordinary person. "Just call me Little Zorro."

Zhang Ailun returned his tools of the crime to him and showed him a few photos. "Go and take care of these guys for me. Our armed helicopter is over there. After that, our debts will be settled."

"Are you sure? Wait, you also have armed helicopters?" Zorro was a little confused.

The next second, his expression changed in a flash. "Sir, boss! You saved my life. I'm not someone who doesn't know how to repay kindness. This is what I should do. What's this talk of being even? I'll work for you from now on!"

Those who know the current affairs are handsome.

"..."

Zhang Ailun said irritably, "I have no intention of keeping a troublemaker around. As you can see, I don't lack manpower; they are all professional veterans."

"I'm a professional killer, after all," Zorro tried his best to prove his worth.

"Then prove it to me. Go and take care of these little bastards. There's also a Mexican restaurant with a shipment there. You can choose to destroy it or take it and get rid of it. Come to the airport in the urban-rural fringe area; I'll be waiting for you there." Zhang Ailun patted him on the shoulder.

"Okay." Zorro took a deep breath.

He turned around, grabbed his gear, got into the car, and sped off, leaving the streets behind.

Boro called at just the right time, and Zhang Ailun answered.

"Hey! Mr. Jin, our client and his entourage have arrived and are waiting for you in room 207 on the second floor of the Rainbow Hotel. Don't worry, all irrelevant people in the hotel have been cleared out. No one will come here, not even the police officers on the street. We guarantee that no one will disturb our transaction!"

Does that mean no one cares if someone dies?

That's right, you were planning to assassinate the Grand Master there anyway!

It's not far from the port area, so if you kill someone, you can throw the body into the river to feed the fish.

"Okay, I'll take some people over right away. Are you sure the room number is 207?" Zhang Ailun said.

"That's right, there will be someone to meet us at the entrance," Boro said confidently.

"Then you'd better open all the windows. I don't like enclosed indoor environments," Zhang Ailun added.

"Okay. I'll arrange it." Boro replied without hesitation.

"Okay, I'll go right away."

Zhang Ailun gave a few perfunctory words and hung up the phone. He turned around, took an ammunition box from the trunk, and handed Old Jack a VSS sniper rifle and an RPG rocket launcher.

"It's yours now. I hope you won't need it."

"Don't worry, I'll make sure his head blows out." Old Jack grinned, grabbed his weapon case, and drove off with a Beggar Clan member towards the Rainbow Hotel. He also relayed the news in real time via earpiece.

Zhang Ailun, Blitz, and the remaining two Beggar Clan disciples hailed a taxi and headed to the airport in the urban-rural fringe area.

They arrived at the airport shortly afterward, got out of the car by the roadside, entered the airport, boarded the plane, and waited for news.

Old Jack reported, "We're now at a high vantage point across from the Rainbow Hotel."

"Turn on your camera," Zhang Ailun instructed through the headset walkie-talkie.

Old Jack turned on the camera and, through a first-person perspective, saw him and the Beggars' Sect disciples, equipped with gear, climbing the tower across the street. The situation on the other side was completely visible, and the private room with the open window on the second floor was room 207.

The Beggars' Sect disciples loaded the RPG rocket launcher and placed it beside them, then helped Old Jack adjust the sniper aiming system. Old Jack, holding his gun, also saw several people in the window through the scope.

"Is that fat, big-eared guy holding a woman the head of the White Horse Group?" Old Jack asked. "Are there a few Thai men with buzz cuts who look like they can fight?"

"That's him." Zhang Ailun checked the character information, nodded, and said, "Take them down!"

At his command, old Jack immediately got to work!

He pulled the trigger, and the subsonic bullet shot out with a crack. Mr. Bangkok, who was in the restaurant's private room, embracing a woman and laughing heartily, suddenly had his head explode and fell backward to the ground. "Stop laughing, why aren't you laughing anymore?"

Is it because you're naturally not fond of smiling?

Old Jack chuckled.

"Oh shit!!"

The security personnel nearby were instantly stunned. The woman next to her, her face splattered with blood, panicked at the bewildered Mr. Bangkok.

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!!!"

clap clap clap! !

Old Jack fired a rapid-fire shot, the bullets finding their way into the room. They shattered a vase, smashed a table, tore a man's leg, and even whipped Mr. Bangkok's corpse.

The room instantly descended into chaos. The bodyguard outside pushed open the door and was shot the next second. He immediately fell to the ground, drenched in sweat, and scrambled out, shouting and yelling.

Poor Mr. Bangkok lay on the ground like a dead pig, being trampled on.

Old Jack fired one magazine of bullets, and then fired another magazine.

Soon a large crowd gathered at the restaurant entrance.

"The firing line is coming from the tower across the street!"

"It's a sniper rifle with a silencer!"

"Stay hidden! Stay hidden!!"

Old Jack changed magazines, shifted his target, and aimed at a group of people gathered at the restaurant entrance. He continued firing indiscriminately.

After firing one magazine, they changed to another.

"Fxxk! What's going on? Why were we attacked?! You traitorous dog! Did you tip us off?!"

Inside the restaurant, a Mexican man with a thick beard, his face contorted in a grotesque grimace and his head bleeding profusely, found Boro, grabbed him by the collar, and, amidst Boro's bewildered expression, launched into a frenzy of swearing in Spanish.

"I don't know what happened either..."

Boro was completely bewildered. He had no idea what was going on. He was also quite shocked after learning about Mr. Bangkok's wildly imaginative ideas.

He tentatively asked, "Could someone else have done it?"

"Do you think we're fools? Where's the guest! Why didn't he come?" The bearded man was furious and embarrassed.

"I'll call him right now..." Boro gasped, suddenly having a bad feeling, and dialed the number with trembling hands.

Zhang Ailun answered the phone and immediately showered him with praise, "You did a great job, Boro! That stinking pig has been taken care of, killed in one blow. I'll send the money as promised. Hahaha! Happy to do business with you!"

He hung up the phone after saying that.

Boro's expression was stiff.

The Mexican drug dealer next to him, hearing the speakerphone call, stared intently at him and laughed in anger: "What the hell do you have to say?!"

The bearded Mexican man gritted his teeth, "I'll fucking kill you!"

"Wait! I didn't do this! It won't do me any good! I'm getting another call!" Boro saw that one of his underlings had called and quickly answered to ask what was going on.

The henchman replied, "Boss, our place's been ransacked! A drunken lunatic's attacking anyone he sees! We can't hold him off!"

"What!? WTF!! Where's that batch of goods?" Boro was also furious.

"The goods? The goods are in your grandfather's hands. You'll never get them! Idiot!" Several gunshots rang out from the other end of the phone, along with unfamiliar curses.

Boro trembled with rage. "Fxxk! Who are you? Give me your name if you dare!"

"Damn it." Zorro said, then smashed the phone to pieces with a single shot.

Boro's face turned ashen as he listened to the busy tone on the phone.

"No matter what you say now, we won't let you live!" The bearded man cursed at Boro.

"Fxxk! I'm not one to be trifled with either."

Even a rabbit will bite when cornered. Boro was furious and, without saying a word, pulled out his gun and fired a series of shots at the man. The bearded man stared wide-eyed in disbelief and fell to the ground.

The Mexicans nearby were startled and immediately drew their guns, and the two groups started fighting right there in the hall.

Old Jack noticed that fewer and fewer people were coming out of the doorway; instead of running outside, they were crowding into the house, and some of them were even fighting in the street.

It also feels a bit inexplicable.

"What's going on? Internal strife? I was about to fire a rocket at them!"

"They're fighting amongst themselves. They should find a chance to leave. Someone will take the blame," Zhang Ailun said.

"That's it?" Old Jack put down the RPG he was carrying on his shoulder with some regret. A whooshing sound came from above, and Bocktu flew the Bird helicopter directly overhead and lowered the ladder.

The Beggars' Sect disciples put away their equipment and climbed up the cloud ladder, while Old Jack went downstairs, got into his Highlander by the roadside, and sped away.

After hanging up the call, Zhang Ailun and the others waited at the airport for a while. A dozen minutes later, they saw Old Jack arrive at the airport, and the Highlander was returned to the rental company intact.

We boarded the plane and prepared to take off.

"Wait a little longer."

Zhang Ailun glanced at the time and waited patiently.

A few minutes later, a dilapidated Chevrolet was seen ramming into the public airport. It was riddled with holes, and the tires were totaled. Sparks flew and lightning flashed as it drove through the air.

"Start it up. Slow down." Zhang Ailun nodded.

Old Jack immediately piloted the Cirrus SF50 Fathead Shark and slowly drove onto the runway. Zhang Ailun opened the cabin door, ready to receive the other party boarding the plane.

The Chevrolet followed the plane directly to its side, driving side by side. Borro opened the car door, jumped up, grabbed the cabin door, and squeezed inside.

The driverless Chevrolet swerved and crashed into the side of the road.

Upon seeing this, the staff immediately ran out and began to berate him for his unethical behavior.

"The car is yours!" Zorro shouted.

The staff member's expression changed instantly, and they waved with a smile, "Oh, guest, have a safe trip."

The business jet accelerated, pulled its nose up, and lifted off the ground.

No, are you showing off your skills here?!

"Good driving skills."

Zhang Ailun gave a thumbs-up.

"I almost died, hiccup." Zorro hiccuped.

"What about that batch of goods?" Zhang Ailun asked.

"Those guys wouldn't leave me alone, so I just threw them into the river," Zorro said irritably. "They're probably still searching for them in the river right now."

"Okay." Zhang Ailun nodded and stopped paying attention to it.

Zorro breathed a sigh of relief and slumped into his seat, falling into a deep sleep.

"What a talent!" Old Jack exclaimed.
