Chapter 343 Simple Computer

After exiting the chat window, Zhang Ailun figured the warthog should be arriving soon, so he immediately called Bailey and, waiting for the call to connect, asked, "Where are you?"

"Boss, I'm almost there. I can see your plane now. Look up there," Bailey said.

Zhang Ailun looked up and saw a small black dot through his binoculars. It was about 10,000 meters above the ground, and the warthog was flying over at an extremely fast speed in the distance.

"Go to the airport on Silver Island, and shoot down any planes you see!" Zhang Ailun gave him the order.

"You're going to attack those that haven't even taken off yet?" Bailey asked.

"We're targeting those that haven't even taken off yet! We'll take them all!" Zhang Ailun said.

"OK!" Bailey received the instruction and switched to the littoral combat ship's channel.

Zhang Ailun also conveyed this message, informing Liaison Spike and the sergeant of the guerrilla plan.

Upon receiving the news, the captain was utterly incredulous and angrily exclaimed, "How dare they? They actually sent someone to feign surrender in an attempt to attack us? To provoke us and escape in the chaos?"

He was both shocked and furious, but thankfully he hadn't yet dispatched Black Hawk helicopters and speedboats.

This guy's behavior is truly monstrous!

He had never seen such a shameless and cold-blooded guy, throwing away more than a hundred lives just like that.

"What should we do now?" Spike asked the Grand Master for the next order.

"No need to launch an attack. Stop 5 kilometers from the coastline, open the ship's guns, and wait for news from Warthog," Zhang Ailun said. "The fact that the enemy was able to shoot down the Black Hawk helicopter means they have accurate RPG missiles. You just need to have everyone on the enemy lay down their weapons and tell them everything their commander has done, then wait for my next order."

"Understood." The captain immediately relayed the order upon receiving the message. He also exclaimed in surprise, thankfully there was a traitor within the enemy ranks and the Grand Master was quite vigilant, otherwise they might have really suffered a loss.

But all of this was based on the premise that they had no intention of eliminating the enemy; they were taking advantage of our goodwill. Otherwise, we could have wiped them all out from the very beginning, launching an attack with missiles from 200 kilometers away, leaving them nowhere to be seen.

The guerrillas on Silver Island were quite puzzled as they watched the littoral combat ship advance a distance and then stop.

"What are they doing? Why aren't they advancing? Are they preparing to attack? Didn't we already surrender?"

I panicked for a moment.

Soon, the littoral combat ship transmitted a message: "Guerrilla members, immediately lay down your weapons and surrender. Do not put up futile resistance. Your commander and captain, including the technical staff, are currently preparing to defect and leave Silver Island, using you as sacrifices to incite hatred between us. Think of your families and children. We do not intend to make things difficult for you. Do you want to sacrifice your lives for a beast? Please lay down your weapons immediately. We are not your enemy. Find Golza and hand him over to us, and we will forgive your crimes..."

After being repeated more than three times, the guerrilla members who heard the news felt numb instantly.

Incredulous, they exclaimed, "What do you mean? We didn't intend to surrender? Didn't we already surrender? The white flag wasn't fake!"

The vice-captain was also somewhat puzzled, but quickly realized what was happening, his expression changing drastically. "Damn it! I knew that captain suddenly changed his plans; he wasn't up to any good! Quick! Go check if the commander-in-chief and the captain are still in the command room!"

The other members of the Gewu guerrilla team also realized what was happening and were incredulous. They rushed to the command room to find someone.

They quickly arrived at the command center on the island. The guerrillas guarding the door were taken aback to see a group of people approaching and immediately shouted, "Why are you here? Why aren't you on the coastline? The commander-in-chief hasn't given any new orders!"

"Go to hell!!"

The Co-Wu guerrillas had an internal conflict. The hot-tempered older brother punched him to the ground, and the rest rushed forward and forced their way into the command room.

As soon as they entered, they saw veterans in military uniforms preparing to go up to the observation tower on the second floor. They didn't see anyone else.

The Copenhagen guerrillas instantly realized that their commander-in-chief was really preparing to flee, and their anxiety finally died down.

The veteran was somewhat surprised to see so many people rushing in; he hadn't expected the other side to act so quickly, as he had only just passed on the message.

But when he also received the message from the combat ship, he sighed after listening to it: "You're too late. The commander-in-chief and the captain have already left. I guess they've received the message too, and they won't just sit at the airport waiting to be killed."

The members of the Golfsky guerrillas could hardly believe it. "That son of a bitch Golza is really planning to betray us?"

"That bastard!! I've been following him all this time, treating him like an idol."

"He even slept with my friend's girlfriend," another person spat out.

"Then why didn't your friend become one of Golza's confidants?" another person asked.

"Your friend's girlfriend got slept with by Golza, what does that have to do with you... Never mind, never mind."

"He sacrificed his life, and his girlfriend is now my wife, so of course it has to do with me," the guerrilla member said matter-of-factly. "She's a widow and orphan, and as her brother, I can't just let her live a life of widowhood."

"..."

Everyone felt a bit confused. But the most urgent thing now was to find Golza and those damn captains.

The group, in a fit of rage, decided to quit and began searching everywhere for their missing captain and Golza.

"He's not here!!" The guerrillas arrived at the captain's residence, broke down the door, but still couldn't find him.

"Keep searching! Let's go to the airport!!"

"Let's go to the technician's quarters!"

"Let's go look for them in the rainforest!"

The others immediately split up to search for clues, even chanting slogans like, "Capture Golza alive, and we can keep him alive or even exchange him for money!"

"Capture Golza alive!!"

"Capture Golza alive!!"

The deputy captain of the coastline immediately chose to release the hostages, sending a friendly signal to the littoral combat ship.

However, these hostages are still in a daze.

"Who exactly is the enemy? The US military? Is that a US littoral combat ship? I've seen it on the news before."

Some people were watching the littoral combat ship five kilometers away, looking on with suspicion and uncertainty.

"Why did they let us go? Are we safe now?"

"Who is Golza? No Ultraman? Where's Tiga? Help!"

The geologists, observing the abstract changes in the guerrilla members, felt as if they were witnessing a coup d'état.

"Look up at the sky! There are warthogs!!! It really is the US military coming!!" Suddenly someone shouted, attracting everyone's attention.

Looking up, I saw a Warthog, with its signature twin turbofans, actively descending several thousand meters in altitude before whooshing past overhead.

Bailey roared over the island in his warthog, descended, spotted the airport on Silver Island, activated the fire control radar, and swooped down.

The vice-captain was terrified and quickly shouted into the microphone, "We surrender!! Don't let the warthogs hurt us!!"

"Don't worry, as long as you find someone to capture Golza alive and bring him to our commander, we won't harm you." The captain responded immediately when he saw that Silver Island was in complete chaos.

Soon everyone saw a plane taking off from the island's airport in the distance, and they were shocked. "It's Golza! That guy chose to take a plane!!"

The guerrillas who had already gathered at the airport arrived a step too late. Watching the plane take off, they cursed, "How dare he take off directly? Aren't they afraid of being bombed by warships? They were so close!!"

Looking up at the plane, they could only sigh in despair; even their timely firing couldn't stop it from taking off.

Soon, someone heard the noise and looked up at the flying object that followed closely behind. Someone exclaimed, "They have warthogs!!"

Captain Spike, watching an aircraft take off, immediately asked the helmsman, "Enemy aircraft spotted taking off, should we launch a naval gun attack to shoot it down from a distance?"

The leader immediately replied, "No need, leave it to Warthog. You take the Black Hawk helicopters and speedboats, land on the island, and take control of everyone. Anyone who resists or tries to cause trouble in the chaos, shoot them dead!"

"Understood." Upon receiving the order, the captain immediately began mobilizing the entire fleet.

Black Hawk helicopters also took off from the littoral combat ship, and several accompanying speedboats were launched.

A minute ago, Commander-in-Chief Golza arrived at the airport, boarded his private plane, and the pilot and technician were also on board. Soon after, the captain of the Golza guerrilla force also ran over, boarded the plane, closed the cabin door, and said breathlessly, "Everything is ready!"

"Then let's wait for takeoff." Golza felt reassured, lit a cigar, and ordered, "Turn on the radio and listen to the situation along the coastline..."

But before he could even settle in, a statement came over the radio from the littoral combat ship: the guerrillas had been turned. This caught the people on the plane completely off guard, leaving them speechless and incredulous.

Golza froze instantly, his hand holding the cigar trembling.

Realizing what had happened, he was enraged, pulled out a pistol, and pointed it at everyone present, yelling, "Damn bastards!! Who betrayed us?!"

"It wasn't me, Commander! I just got here!" The captain was startled and timidly raised his hands.

"Commander, it wasn't me. You know us. We can only escape from here by following you." The technician was also terrified and quickly raised his hands.

"It's you!!" Golza turned his gun on the pilot at the front.

"Are you crazy, or am I crazy?"

The bearded pilot said speechlessly, "I'm the pilot, your personal pilot. If I were an undercover agent, I would have flown the plane into the sea long ago!! Why would I let you on board? In fact, during the two previous defeats and escapes in Colombia, I took you to the military government's base to surrender! How could I possibly be an undercover agent?"

"Could I be the undercover agent? Yes! It really is me!" Golza gritted his teeth.

Just as the others thought he had gone mad with anger, Golza burst out cursing, "It's that guy Gucci! That old bastard was bribed long ago! Besides him, only a few of us knew about the plan. I had him impersonate me, and he directly chose to betray me!"

"What do we do now?" the captain asked anxiously. "If the guerrillas catch us, we're absolutely dead!! We betrayed them, and they'll definitely take their anger out on us now!!"

"I suggest we abandon the plane and run into the rainforest to lay low, so they won't be able to find us so quickly. Then we can run back and take the plane away," the technician said.

"There's no time for that!!" Golza immediately retorted.

"I have a speedboat docked at the port behind the mountain. We can take the speedboat to the nearest island, San Andreas," another technician said hastily.

"Were you planning to run away all along?" Golza's eyes flashed with malice upon hearing this.

"Everyone has to plan for themselves, especially since we need it right now." The technician felt a chill run down his spine and didn't dare to look him in the eye.

"Those who betray me deserve to die!!" Golza roared and fired his gun.

Bang! !

The technician's head exploded, blood splattered everywhere, and even the airplane window shattered.

"Are you crazy!?" the pilot exclaimed in disbelief.

The team leader and another technician were dumbfounded, too scared to even breathe.

"I'm not crazy! I'm perfectly lucid! Now! Start the plane!!" Golza roared, "Our only chance of escape is to take off now!!"

"There are their private planes up there, thousands of meters in the air. I spotted them a while ago. If we take off, they'll definitely come and intercept us!! They might even engage in a dogfight!" the bearded man warned. "That would be an aerial disaster!!"

"Then it must fly."

Golza said in a deep voice, "Unless you want to be caught by those scum and torn to pieces! If we don't take off, we'll definitely be caught and beaten up. The outcome might be execution, or it might be hanging—either way, we'll die! If we take off, we'll have a sliver of hope!!"

"Alright, I'll take your word for it. I hope your luck continues." The bearded man nodded, started the calibrated aircraft, and sprinted down the runway.

"I won't die!! Brother!!" Golza grinned maliciously.

The captain turned and looked out the window, suddenly spotting the guerrillas. He couldn't help but curse, "Damn it! They're here! So fast!"

"This island is too small to contain our ambitions," Golza grumbled.

The technician didn't dare to say a word.

The roar of the CAF guerrillas came from behind, and they opened fire in rapid succession, but the plane had already taken off and retracted its landing gear.

"We did it!!" the bearded man roared.

The plane soared into the sky, shaking off Silver Island and reaching high altitude. He couldn't help but exclaim excitedly, "The littoral combat ship didn't choose to fire directly!!"

"Hahahaha! You dog, you're not going to die!!" Golza laughed loudly.

"Wuhu!! The Commander-in-Chief is invincible!!" the group cheered.

"Stop your trash talk, buddy."

Even the Grand Master was speechless.

Ever since the other side turned on its aircraft's radar channel, it has been barking and babbling in Spanish, which he couldn't understand at all.

Zhang Ailun took the Cirrus FC's walkie-talkie and ordered, "Take him down."

"OK!" Bailey answered crisply, and steered the warthog close behind, swooping down to take the lead.

"Who? Who was speaking just now? What was he saying?" Golza asked, somewhat flustered upon hearing the voice.

"It's the radar intercom channel, I didn't turn it off," the bearded man said awkwardly. "It's okay, we're safe now. All we have to do now is shake off the enemy's private plane... WTF!! What's that!?"

Turning his head, he saw another unidentified flying object hurtling towards them at incredible speed. The bearded man's expression changed drastically, filled with terror. "It's an attack aircraft!! It's coming for us!!"

"What!?" The group was shocked.

With the Warthog attack aircraft relentlessly pursuing them from behind, and their fire control radar directly targeting them, the Warthog swooped down, its Vulcan Gatling gun suddenly bursting into flames, unleashing a deluge of bullets like rain.

"No, nonono..." the group roared frantically.

boom!!!

A massive explosion.

The aircraft's metal body, wings, and cabin were all pierced by bullets and destroyed by the explosion.

"Simple Computer"

Bailey, his tone calm, flew over the blast zone, gripping the control stick, and reported to his superior: "Mission accomplished."

"receive."

Seeing the fireworks display in the low sky and the smoking wreckage of the plane falling down, Zhang Ailun nodded in satisfaction and praised, "Well done."

The channel went quiet; apart from the hissing of the electromagnetic waves, the dog finally stopped barking.
