Jujutsu Kaisen: My spells have no limit

Chapter 13 Spellcasting Specialist in Action

Lin Yi and Xia Youjie formed a "bond," and Lin Yi temporarily escaped Xia Youjie's entanglement, continuing his life of taking orders and making money.

It was only because of Xia Youjie's unexpected appearance that Lin Yi was able to re-examine the timeline of the Jujutsu Kaisen series in his memory.

The timeline of Jujutsu Kaisen is divided into two parts: the prequel and the main story. The prequel is self-explanatory; it tells the story of Natsumi and Gojo Satoru during their student days, with a distinct period style, so Lin Yi wouldn't mistake it.

If we start counting from when Xia Youjie was killed by Wutiao Wu, the main story's timeline is only about two years. Because the time span is not long, Lin Yi had a misconception.

He believed that October 31st of that year was the Shibuya Incident in which Gojo Satoru was sealed away.

This is why Lin Yi wasn't too surprised when he ran into the supporting character, Nanami Kento, at the bakery he frequented.

Lin Yi puts the time when Nanami Kento resigns and returns to the Jujutsu High School to continue working as a Jujutsu Master together with the year when Gojo Satoru was sealed away.

"Tsk, so it seems the first problem I need to face now is the 'Night Parade of One Hundred Demons' that madman Xia Youjie caused on Christmas Eve? Is it the end of this year or the end of next year? I heard the sequel is already out?"

Lin Yi couldn't quite remember the entire plot of Jujutsu Kaisen. It had ended more than a year before he transmigrated. All he could remember were a few famous memes that went viral, such as "I beat Sukuna" and "2.5 Jou Satoru, I'm really sorry I didn't let Sukuna have his fill."

Little did he know that he would inexplicably transmigrate into the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, a story whose main plot had already concluded. In order to earn more money and to master the reversal techniques and domain expansion that are standard for the strong, he decided to do so.

Lin Yi had no choice but to rack his brains, which weren't exactly brilliant, to see what tricks he could pull off in the next two years. He'd only mastered his local golden finger technique, Two-Level Reversal, for a little over three months. He wasn't willing to run away back to China without figuring it out, especially since time was still on his side.

Just as Lin Yi was thinking about how to use his prophetic advantage to benefit himself over the past two years, little did he know that what he feared was about to happen.

Yesterday, on the road where Lin Yi was about to flee to the airport with his valuables but was blocked by Xia Youjie and his men, the Tokyo High School of Sorcery, under the official management of the Japanese sorcery community, had already blocked the road where the conflict between Lin Yi and Xia Youjie occurred.

The assistant supervisors, dressed in black business suits, are surveying the area where Lin Yi and Xia Youjie clashed. One of the assistant supervisors, Ijichi Kiyotaka, is talking to a higher-up on his mobile phone.

"Yes, there are indeed remnants of barrier spells and surging incantations. The initial assessment is that there are four people."

Five people.

Just as Ichiji Kiyotaka was giving a brief report to his superiors about his findings, a familiar voice came from behind him.

When Ijichi Kiyotaka turned around, he saw Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer in the modern era, appear behind him without him noticing. His pair of deep blue eyes, like sapphires, were captivating.

"Mr. Gojo? What brings you here?"

"I was just passing by after finishing my business and thought I'd stop by to inspect your work. I didn't observe you carefully enough, Ichichi."

Gojo Satoru teased his old friend Ijichi Kiyotaka, then looked past him at the ground that Lin Yi had shattered when he switched to the Heaven and Tyrant form.

In Gojo Satoru's view, the only ground that Lin Yi shattered in his Heaven and Tyrant form had no residual curse power.

"Mr. Gojo, the residual cursed power I observed only indicates four people."

"Idiot, it's not only sorcerers' magical attacks that can cause this kind of damage."

Gojo Satoru stared thoughtfully at the ground that Lin Yi had shattered. Before Ijichi Kiyotaka could say anything, he clenched his hands and instantly disappeared from the spot.

When it reappeared, it was in the mountainous area on the outskirts of Tokyo, where one of the two high schools of sorcery in the Japanese sorcery world, the Tokyo Metropolitan Sorcery Higher Vocational School, is located.

Looking down from the vantage point, one can see several Buddhist temples halfway up the mountain, and the mountain paths leading to these buildings are adorned with vermilion torii gates.

This is the complete picture of Tokyo Jujutsu High School.

Gojo Satoru once again used his unscrupulous technique to teleport, and in the blink of an eye, he arrived at the first-year classroom of the Jujutsu High School.

He opened the sliding door and greeted the first-year students in his class with a cheerful voice.

"Hey, my students, have you missed me?"

"Huh? That idiot teacher knows she's coming back?"

"Maki, it's not nice to call Gojo-sensei an idiot."

"Mentaiko."

Only three students responded to Gojo Satoru's greeting, or rather, in the entire first year of the Tokyo Jujutsu High School, there was only one class with three students.

There was a man, a woman, and another creature that wasn't human—a panda.

The first to respond to Gojo Satoru's greeting was the girl. She had a ponytail, wore glasses, carried a long naginata on her shoulder, and had her long legs propped up on the table, looking quite nonchalant. The girl's name was Zenin Maki, and she came from the Zenin family, one of the three great families in the world of Japanese sorcery.

Born into a large family of sorcerers, she lacks magical techniques due to congenital reasons and possesses only a trace of magical power. Although her physical abilities far surpass those of ordinary people, she cannot directly see cursed spirits with her naked eyes and must rely on wearing these non-prescription glasses to observe them. The naginata she holds is also a magical tool specifically designed to slay cursed spirits.

As for the two who just chimed in, one was a man and the other a bear. The man was called Gou Juanji, a descendant of spellcasters among sorcerers. His spells were that words could become law, but the effect of his spells was proportional to his own strength. For the convenience of daily life, he often used food to express his meaning.

As for pandas, they are simply pandas.

"Hey, you guys are really harsh on me, aren't you? Anyway, I'm here to assign you homework."

"What homework?"

"Each of you go to the Tokyo metropolitan area and independently deal with ten level-two cursed spirits. Contact Iji Tomo; he knows where in Tokyo you should go to deal with them. Do it now, immediately."

"I know, you're ordering your students around as soon as you get back."

Zenin Maki and her two first-year students never expected that the first thing their homeroom teacher, Gojo Satoru, would do upon returning to school was to make them do chores. After grumbling for a bit, they were pushed out of the classroom by Gojo Satoru.

After seeing his students off, Gojo Satoru sat down and recalled the information he had just observed. After organizing it, he took out his phone and found the person he wanted to contact in his address book.

"Miss Mingming, I have a business deal to discuss with you..."

Lin Yi was unaware that he was about to face the risk of having his box opened. He underestimated the extent to which the Japanese official sorcery community monitored the activity of sorcery in the country, and he also underestimated Gojo Satoru's abilities.

He's busy taking on his next order right now.
