Adele, with a large "1" on her head, almost burst into tears. She smiled gratefully at Adrian, raised her bow, and took a deep breath.

The first arrow missed the target.

The second arrow missed the target.

Her heart rate and pressure rose rapidly, and her hands trembled more and more. Just then, two arrows flew out from the side and shot towards the target.

The Fifth Ring Road.

Seven rings.

Charlie let out a breath and gave Duncan a high five.

There are only six spots left!

Sitting in the audience at 1-3 PM, he put his legs up on the soldier next to him and started talking, enjoying the spectacle.

"Adele, don't be nervous."

Adrian spoke softly behind her, but was afraid of disturbing her by speaking too loudly. Suddenly, a thin man shot an arrow at the target.

The audience erupted in applause and laughter, chanting "loser!" repeatedly.

The untimely cheers caused the man to visibly stiffen.

He looked at his companion beside him, whose expression had already changed. His gaze was burning with fervor, and the light of survival in his eyes almost overflowed.

"Feel sorry."

He stared wide-eyed as his target landed on the nine-ring, then suddenly realized something.

No...no.

His companion had a "9" on his head, and he himself was very likely to have a "9" as well. In order to help his companion get the wrong answer, he shot the nine rings without any deviation, but his companion lied.

The thin man's eyes widened as an arrow pierced his chest, screams erupted, and the thick stench of blood instantly filled the air.

"Oh, how pitiful."

At the hour of Wei (1-3 PM), holding a bow and arrow, his expression was excited and playful. "The first unlucky one of the day has been born."

As soon as this farce started, it instantly filled the crowd with suspicion and fear. Some people dared not trust others anymore, and some people asked several people and got different numbers. They were so confused that they didn't know who to believe.

"Snap—"

Fourth Ring Road.

Another arrow shot out, and Tiffany's forehead was covered in fine sweat. She had clearly shot many arrows before finally getting the target. She breathed a sigh of relief, and Duncan happily comforted her from the side.

Another surviving spot was taken, and Adele's palms were sweating with anxiety. She then missed the target several more times. Adrian immediately ran to the placement area and picked out another one for her, his eyes fixed on her with a firm yet gentle gaze.

"You can do it, Adele, keep going."

Although he was straight and not good at encouraging people, there was no point in saying more at this point. He just... didn't want to disappoint Eve Ning again.

Concealing her other emotions, the girl beside him finally exclaimed in surprise and looked at Adrian excitedly.

It hit the target.

Nine rings.

She happily hugged the man, and Adrian's body stiffened. A floral fragrance filled his nose, and his face turned pale and flushed. His hands froze in mid-air, unsure of what to do.

Several more unlucky ones won the lottery. At the hour of Wei (1-3 PM), she smiled and gave these people their deaths, while also checking if there were any models she liked. When she took them away to be disposed of, she could shave off their faces and put them on her own.

The game has reached a stalemate, with a one-in-five probability. Some people hesitate, while others miss the target several times.

As time passed, the three rings were captured. Ollie stood in the corner, his bow trembling, and shouted with his eyes closed, "Cecily, lend me a hand!!!"

"Snap—"

He hit the bullseye, and Bruce, standing nearby, cheered him on.

He turned around and his face fell into a gloomy mood. He hadn't even hit the target yet, so what was he so happy about?

He raised his bow and arrow, his hand trembling slightly, because there were only two spots left, and six rings was his own death number.

In other words, he could only hit the second ring.

It was too difficult, he couldn't help but complain in despair, his lips pursed in nervousness, but it was as if everything was playing tricks on him, and he hit the six rings.

We're doomed!!!

He instantly broke out in a cold sweat, and his whole body trembled as he knelt down on the ground, but he didn't hear the inappropriate cheers.

Ugh?

well?!!!

The Sixth Ring Road is not a death toll!!!

Bruce, realizing what was happening, jumped up excitedly, yelling and screaming. Ollie silently walked away behind him, his gaze inscrutable.

The last ring was also taken down, and with a scream, a shocking scene unfolded across the entire venue.

Those players who didn't get a spot had their heads explode in a bizarre way, and a red and white mist sprayed out in a radial pattern onto the faces and bodies of the stunned people around them.

The headless body even maintained a clenched fist posture, standing stiffly for half a second before limply collapsing to the ground.

The sounds rang out one after another, growing faster and faster, merging into a wet, explosive chorus. The scene was completely out of control. Only when Wei Shi laughed wildly, his manic appearance almost squeezing the dough into cracks, did she regain her composure.

"I'll take the sales figures that Brother Si Shi doesn't want."

Inside the venue, only the dripping sound of blood, the occasional rustling of corpses convulsing and scraping the floor, and the suppressed, broken sobs and whimpers of the survivors remained.

As dawn broke, everyone returned to the streets of the city. Bruce stumbled a couple of steps, unsteady on his feet, before being caught by Adrian.

Of the original thirty people in the instance, only eleven remained. Not a single one could speak, and even the few high-level players looked extremely grim.

"Why...didn't Eve participate in this incident?"

Someone asked a question, and immediately someone else responded.

"Yeah, why didn't she participate? Was she dead?"

No sooner had he finished speaking than the player was grabbed by the neck by a tremendous force. Before him was Adrian's distorted face, his eyes almost bulging out of their sockets, and his voice trembling.

"Shut your stinking mouth, you trash."

"Alright, alright, are you hard of hearing?" Tiffany stepped in to mediate.

"The system stated at the beginning that the trigger range is the city center. Evelyn went to the countryside to visit her good friend, so of course she is not within the trigger range."

"You can do that?"

Bruce muttered something, suddenly feeling a little envious of Evelyn; he should have gone with her.

"etc-"

Adrian released the man's neck, his gaze suddenly fixed, and he stood up extremely slowly.

"Trigger range..."

He murmured, slowly furrowing his brow, "Trigger area..."

"Adrian, what are you trying to say?"

Duncan asked impatiently.

"In other words, the Mill Ferry may have also triggered a random event."

"That's not possible."

Tiffany shook her head. "Two people or fewer do not constitute a random event."

"Then everything is working."

He stood up and rushed towards the church, catching the people behind him off guard with his sudden action.

"Adrian, where are you going?!"

Adele, unable to stop him, could only lift her skirt and follow, while Bruce watched the group's departing figures and groaned in despair.

"Can't you guys show some respect for people whose legs are weak?"

As Adrian ran, his eyes grew increasingly determined, his heart rate rose, and his gaze became brighter.
