"Director Jiang, welcome."

Tang Yonghui's wife, Zhang Lijuan, is an ordinary woman who used to work in a machinery factory. After being laid off, she stayed at home to take care of her son.

She addressed Jiang Haichao as "Director Jiang" simply because Jiang Haichao was the director of the Huinan City Cultural Center, and his administrative rank was deputy director level, so this form of address was reasonable.

"Sister-in-law," Jiang Haichao replied politely.

"This is Mr. Shen, a master invited by Director Jiang," Tang Shaoyou introduced from the side.

"Greetings, Master. Please come in and have a seat." Zhang Lijuan greeted them warmly, showing no disdain for Shen Qingzhou despite his youth.

"Let's see your son first." Shen Qingzhou was not visiting as a guest.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Lijuan looked at her husband, Tang Shaoyou, who in turn looked at Jiang Haichao. Seeing Jiang Haichao nod slightly, Tang Shaoyou immediately said, "Then come with me to the room. Yonghui is inside."

He then led the two toward the door, but stopped at the entrance and whispered a reminder: "He has a bad temper. If he does anything rash later, please don't take it to heart."

"We're here today to resolve the issue, we won't mind," Jiang Haichao waved his hand.

Tang Shaoyou said no more and turned to push open the door.

Shen Qingzhou and Jiang Haichao looked up and saw a middle-aged man with thinning hair and pale skin sitting on the bed.

Judging from his appearance, he was a handsome young man in his youth, but unfortunately, this misfortune caused him to waste more than ten years of his youth.

He sat there with a blank stare, his posture more like that of an animal than a human.

A cloth cover was wrapped around the ankle, and an iron chain was attached to the cloth cover. The other end of the iron chain was fixed to the bed leg welded to the ground.

"We were afraid he would run away or hurt someone, so we had no other choice but to do this," Tang Shaoyou explained helplessly when he noticed the chains on the chains.

The two expressed their understanding, noting that Tang Yonghui was well cared for, and the cloth covers around his ankles were clearly to prevent the chains from chafing his skin.

"Master, have you noticed anything? Should we go over and take a closer look? But if you go over, be careful, he might grab you..."

Before Tang Shaoyou could finish speaking, Tang Yonghui, who was squatting on the bed, seemed to be startled by the sound. His empty eyes suddenly focused as he looked at the three people at the door.

His eyes were incredibly complex, a mixture of countless emotions, and they exuded a sense of madness.

It seems Jiang Haichao doesn't fully understand the Tang family's situation. This isn't just dull, this is insane. But thinking about it, it's possible that Tang Shaoyou and his wife deliberately spread this image to the outside world, since being dull is better than being insane.

The next second, Tang Yonghui pounced on the bed like a cat.

Of the three people at the door, only Jiang Haichao was startled and subconsciously took a step back, only coming to his senses after bumping into Zhang Lijuan who was following behind him.

Tang Shaoyou remained calm, firstly because he was already used to it, and secondly because the chain was of limited length and couldn't reach them at the door.

Shen Qingzhou was not afraid at all. Instead, she stepped forward and went to meet her, extending her arm directly.

"Master, be careful," Tang Shaoyou warned instinctively.

Immediately afterwards, everyone saw Tang Yonghui's fingertips touch Shen Qingzhou's arm, and he suddenly somersaulted in mid-air, crashing headfirst into the ground.

"Ah!" Zhang Lijuan exclaimed in shock, instinctively closing her eyes. Falling to the ground like that would surely result in a head injury and bleeding.

The expected impact did not occur. She quickly opened her eyes and saw her son standing barefoot in the center of the room, staring at Shen Qingzhou with clear eyes, his gaze filled with confusion and fear.

Zhang Lijuan didn't see the whole process clearly; she just closed her eyes and missed the crucial moment.

But Jiang Haichao and Tang Shaoyou saw it clearly.

Just as Tang Yonghui was about to hit the ground, Shen Qingzhou flicked his ankle with her finger, and Tang Yonghui immediately spun 180 degrees in mid-air, landing on his feet instead of his head, without a scratch.

At this moment, Tang Shaoyou had only one thought in his mind: this person has real skills, and the hope that had long been extinguished in his heart seemed to rekindle a little spark.

Jiang Haichao even praised, "Master Shen, you are truly skilled."

"It's nothing, just Tai Chi listening technique," Shen Qingzhou replied casually.

However, no one present believed it. They knew about Tai Chi, but they couldn't believe it. Even Tai Chi masters in movies wouldn't dare to act like that.

Shen Qingzhou stopped explaining and instead snapped at Tang Yonghui, "Go back and lie down properly."

Tang Yonghui's body trembled slightly, then he tiptoed back to the bedside and obediently lay down on the bed.

Tang Shaoyou and his wife were very surprised to see this scene, and became even more convinced that although Shen Qingzhou looked young, he was indeed a master with real skills.

Because the couple had been taking care of their son for so many years, they had never seen him so obedient as he was today.

Unbeknownst to them, when Tang Yonghui met Shen Qingzhou's eyes, he was terrified by the coldness and sinister look in them. An instinct from his very soul instilled fear in him, which is why he obediently complied.

Seeing Tang Yonghui lying on the bed, Shen Qingzhou walked straight over.

The three people standing at the door also followed in out of curiosity.

Then, Shen Qingzhou reached out and pressed his hand on Tang Yonghui's forehead. Jiang Haichao, who was very observant, also noticed that at that moment, dense, tiny runes appeared on the back of Shen Qingzhou's hand.

Then he reached out and pulled something out of Tang Yonghui's body. Tang Yonghui, who had been lying on the bed with his eyes wide open, closed his eyes and lost consciousness. His tense body completely relaxed.

"what?"

Tang Shaoyou and his wife exclaimed in surprise upon seeing this.

Only Jiang Haichao remained calm and unfazed, as if he had never seen anything like it before.

It's said that a mother's heart is connected to her child's. Although her son was mentally ill, Zhang Lijuan immediately asked, "Master, is my son...is he alright?"

"It's alright, don't worry," Shen Qingzhou said, glancing back at her.

Seeing Tang Yonghui lying quietly on the bed, the three dared to approach. Seeing their son seemingly fast asleep, Tang Shaoyou asked with some worry, "Master, have you noticed anything?"

"Your son has lost his soul," Shen Qingzhou said.

"Lost your soul? If someone loses their soul, shouldn't they be dazed and confused? How come they're acting so crazy?" Tang Shaoyou immediately said.

Shen Qingzhou glanced at him in surprise, not expecting that he knew these things.

Tang Shaoyou quickly explained, "Over the years, I have also consulted several so-called masters. Although Yonghui still hasn't improved at all, I have gained some understanding of these matters."

Shen Qingzhou nodded and then explained, "The human body is like a house, and the soul is the occupant of the house. Now that the owner is gone, the house is naturally empty, so it attracts other things, which all rush into this house..."

Only then did everyone notice that Shen Qingzhou seemed to be holding something in her hand.

"Was my son really harmed by a curse?" Zhang Lijuan said through gritted teeth.

His eyes were filled with anger and hatred.

Shen Qingzhou shook his head, somewhat disappointed, and said, "Not entirely."

He thought he had met a like-minded person, but when he arrived, he found that it was not like that at all. It can only be said that the Tang family was unlucky, and all sorts of coincidences happened at once.

Tang Shaoyou and his wife were somewhat puzzled, but Shen Qingzhou showed no intention of explaining. He looked down at the clump of souls he had extracted from Tang Yonghui's body and intended to swallow them directly.

But they were rats, snakes, cats, and dogs, all tangled together, forming a bizarre creature. Shen Qingzhou felt nauseous and reached out to pinch them, killing them instantly.

The people in the room felt as if they heard a shrill scream, and their hair stood on end in fear, but they couldn't see anything.

Shen Qingzhou clapped his hands: "Let's put everything else aside for now and find your son's lost soul first."

Shen Qingzhou took out another talisman and slapped it on Tang Yonghui's forehead to prevent anything dirty from getting in while they were away.
