"Another summoning beast died?"

Deep within the Death Forest, in a secluded corner, Kisame Hoshigaki suddenly sprang to his feet, his bluish-gray shark face filled with frustration and helplessness.

"Kaguya Kazama, it's only been two days, what tricks are you playing now?"

Although he was complaining, his actions didn't stop at all. Before he could finish speaking, he had already disappeared in an instant.

The elite Jonin's powerful physical attributes, combined with the terrifying mobility brought by the Body Flicker Technique, allowed them to move at a speed exceeding 250 meters per second.

Then, in front of the giant tree not far away, a wriggling figure in black robes came into view.

It was a humanoid creature lying on the ground, draped in a black robe and wearing a mask, but unlike a normal person, the figure was writhing strangely all over.

Beneath the pitch-black robe, large bulges would occasionally rise and then quickly deflate, accompanied by cracking sounds, like countless bones rubbing and breaking, as if flesh and bones were battling within the robe—a bizarre and terrifying sight.

"Kaguya Kazama?" Kisame Hoshigaki asked tentatively, pulling out two shuriken.

The strange figure inside the robe struggled to remove its mask, revealing Kaguya Kazama's gaunt face stained with blood.

His left eye was tightly closed, the blood had not yet dried, and the flesh beneath his skin was writhing and undulating, as if countless snakes and insects were crawling around, making one's scalp tingle.

"Take me away, away from Konoha." Kaguya Kazama, enduring the excruciating pain coursing through her body, struggled to her feet and said urgently, "Quickly, the pursuers are on their way."

"Uchiha Shisui?" Kisame Hoshigaki was startled, instinctively recalling the information he had previously obtained.

"The ultimate illusion technique that can alter willpower, Kotoamatsukami?" He immediately looked away, but a surge of eager desire to attack welled up within him. "If I could seize his Kaleidoscope, wouldn't my mission be complete?"

In the distance, Uchiha Shisui calmly drew his katana and pointed it at the two of them.

"Shark face? You're Kisame Hoshigaki, the freak of Kirigakure, so the other one must be a Kirigakure spy. How did you infiltrate Root and gain Lord Danzo's trust?"

Clearly, he, who firmly believed in the Will of Fire, had not yet witnessed Danzo's dirty tricks.
