The riots caused by the stun grenades far exceeded those caused by the goblin's sudden attack.

The goblins' combat strength is still worrying; they were only somewhat flustered when they were first attacked.

But this bombshell...

Some people thought it was some kind of high-level magic.

Some people thought it was a giant dragon attacking and were so frightened that they lay on the ground, too scared to move.

Several leaders roared as they tried to organize their men, but their shouts were drowned out by the chaos.

……

In the chaos, Lily led her team toward the cave entrance.

The infiltration team consists of six people: Lilith leads the way, Phoebe clears obstacles, Nicole leads the way, Giorno shouts instructions, and there are three vampire familiars.

The priest Barbara, who had originally planned to come along, was left behind to treat the wounded. Her infiltration was not entirely useless.

Two guards stood at the cave entrance, craning their necks to look towards the camp, seemingly disturbed from their sleep, muttering curses under their breath.

Lilith emerged from the shadows behind them.

The shadow sword slashed across.

The two guards fell silently, without even having a chance to cry out.

"Walk."

The team crawled into the cave.

Tap, tap, tap

The main passageway was dark and damp, with the sound of dripping water coming from all around.

The firelight could be seen in the distance.

The black-armored squad leader is still there.

He sat motionless on a rock at the entrance of the cave, his serrated broadsword resting on his lap.

The firelight cast his long shadow on the rock face, making him look like a crouching monster.

His position blocked the main road in and out.

Lilith raised her hand, signaling the squad to stop.

She pointed to the side of the passage, where there was a narrow gap, just big enough for a person to squeeze through. It was a crack she had discovered during her reconnaissance earlier that day.

Lilith was the first to squeeze in. She was the smallest, so she squeezed in little by little, sideways.

Then came Fluffy, then Phoebe. Phoebe got stuck for a moment, gritted her teeth, took a deep breath, and forced her way through.

Three vampire servants transformed into bats and flew over the gap.

Finally, it was Nicole's turn. She carefully gripped her sword and shield, trying her best not to let them hit the rock wall and make a sound.

……

Inside the cave, more than three hundred rabbit-people were crammed together.

Because the cave has only one exit, there are no private soldiers guarding it.

Several sharp-eyed rabbit-people were stunned when they saw Lilith emerge from the crack.

After confirming that there were no enemies around, Lilith signaled for the others to come in.

Until Rongrong crawled in,

Rongrong suppressed her emotions, but her voice still trembled slightly, "It's me! Rongrong!"

He paused for a second, then exploded.

"Rongrong!" "Rongrong's back!" "How did she get in?"

Several elderly people struggled to their feet, their eyes reddening. A middle-aged woman rushed over and hugged Rongrong tightly, unable to speak, only crying.

Rongrong desperately fought back her tears and said quickly, "Someone outside is rescuing us! Come with me!"

Without hesitation, without doubt.

The rabbits helped each other to their feet, picked up the children, and supported the elderly, moving towards the crevice.

Three vampire servants transformed into human form and helped carry the child and support the elderly.

Some of the rabbit-people saw their sharp teeth and instinctively shrank back, but when Fluffy shouted, "They've come to save us," they didn't ask any more questions.

They crawled through the cracks one by one, moving outwards along the passage.

Phoebe led the way.

Lilith stayed behind at the very end.

Nicole led the way, whispering, "This way," "Watch your step," and "Follow me."

Everything is proceeding according to plan.

……

The team retreated to the middle of the main passage, only a few dozen meters away from the cave entrance.

Suddenly, rapid footsteps echoed from deep within the cave.

Then Lilith saw that person.

He noticed the commotion and chased after the fifth-tier black-armored figure.

He stood in the middle of the main passage, a serrated broadsword slung over his shoulder.

The firelight shone from behind, casting a long shadow that almost covered the entire passageway.

The face was hidden in the shadow of the helmet, so the expression was not visible; only a pair of eyes could be seen, glowing eerily in the darkness.

He spoke.

The voice was slow and steady, like someone chatting casually.

"I knew something was off tonight."

He grinned.

"Goblins? What a joke. Those junk could be turned into this? Someone's up to something. But I still overestimated you guys... a few tier 3s with one tier 4..."

His gaze swept across the group, lingering on Lilith's Shadow Sword and wings a few times.

"A Shadow Fairy? That's a rare find. The high-ranking adventurer the Viscount temporarily commissioned isn't a complete waste..."

Then another person slowly walked into the cave. He was wearing a gray cloak and was short in stature, but his aura was much stronger than that of the black-armored private soldier captain.

Lilith couldn't tell just how strong this newcomer was either. But she did hear Black Armor mention a high-level adventurer.

Sixth order? Seventh order?

However, neither the sixth nor the seventh tier is something Lilith and her group can easily mess with.

The man in the gray cloak toyed with a dagger, the blade flashing in his hand...

He moved.

It's too fast to see clearly.

The next second, an elderly rabbit-man at the end of the line clutched his chest and slowly collapsed.

A bloody hole pierced his chest; his heart was gone.

The man in the grey cloak shook the blood off his hands.

"Rabbit people, let's see how many of you can escape... But it doesn't matter. We'll catch a fairy to take back and report, that'll be a fortune."

The black-armored squad leader frowned: "These are all the Viscount's property. Kill fewer of them."

The man in the grey cloak raised his head, revealing a gaunt face beneath the hood, with high cheekbones and a cold gaze as if he were looking at a swarm of ants.

"Property?" He chuckled. "A few rabbit-people don't even deserve to be called property."

He snapped his fingers.

A rabbit-person fell down; this time it was a young woman with a bloody hole in her forehead. She fell with her eyes open, without even having time to scream.

The black-armored squad leader's face twitched, but he didn't say anything.

The man in the gray cloak looked at him, his tone filled with undisguised contempt: "What? You have a problem with that?"

The black-armored squad leader paused for a second, then lowered his head: "No."

That look in his eyes.

That arrogance that emanated from her very bones, and the black-armored squad leader's resolute "no," which she dared not refute, made Lilith's heart sink to the bottom.

The fifth-rank private army captain didn't dare utter a single word in front of him.

How strong must this person be?

Phoebe gritted her teeth: "You son of a bitch! I'll cover your retreat! You guys take your men and leave!"

Lilith was shocked: "You!"

Phoebe had already rushed forward.

He raised his staff high, poured all his strength into it, and slammed it down on the gray-cloaked figure.

The man didn't even look up.

He simply stepped aside.

Then he casually slapped Phoebe in the chest.

puff!

Phoebe was sent flying backward, crashing into the rock wall before sliding down.

His chest was caved in, and large mouthfuls of blood gushed from his mouth.

"Phoebe!" Nicole screamed.

"Let's go..." Phoebe struggled to stand up, but couldn't. "Let's go..."

Phoebe wasn't a pushover either; at least by this point, many of the rabbit-people at the front of the group had already been led away from the cave by Nicole.

Lilith knew that the person in front of her was no match for her, and she wanted to turn around and run away, but she dared not move.

The man in the gray cloak glanced ahead, but didn't chase after the fleeing rabbit-men. He just stared intently at Lilith in front of him.

His eyes held a mocking look, like a cat watching a fleeing mouse.

It's as if it's saying, "Go ahead and try to run, you can't escape anyway."
