Monsters: Evolving from Titans to Ancient Gods
Chapter 87 The Death of Godzilla
Chapter 88 The Death of Godzilla
Godzilla's body temperature rose rapidly, its eyes glowed red, and the high temperature it emitted caused the air to rise continuously, reaching the temperature generated when Rodan was flying at full speed in just an instant, and then rapidly increasing.
Looking up, the whole world turned crimson. The dark clouds in the sky were rapidly evaporating, and the earth, riddled with ravines, was transforming into flowing lava. Godzilla's extremely enraged core energy was overloaded and rampaging, constantly radiating high temperatures from its body. Its strength and energy output increased exponentially, and its self-healing ability leaped forward.
In the sky, Mothra sensed the anger and killing intent of its comrade-in-arms from billions of years ago, but did not stop its decision.
It hovered above Godzilla's head, its broad moth wings scattering scales containing astonishing energy, acting as a catalyst on Godzilla's core to prevent it from melting down.
Despite Mothra's wholehearted assistance, Godzilla's power was still exceptionally strong at this moment.
However, if it operates under overload for an extended period of time, it may still melt down on its own.
For Godzilla, overloading is not just a form of enhancement, but also a journey on a tightrope.
A single misstep can lead to self-destruction.
Godzilla's transformation puzzled King Ghidorah's three heads, but this energy was the perfect enhancement material for it.
Once it is devoured, it will be invincible!
Godzilla strides forward with its massive legs, letting the lava-filled land spread unchecked. After roaring, it once again lowers its head to channel energy into the back of the dying Lidor.
Crimson energy patterns seeped into Lidor's back, continuously filling its body, activating its dormant atomic furnace, and dissipating energy to be etched into the earth.
It was just like the hundreds of winters that Godzilla and his kind tried to revive Mother Lydore.
Perhaps it was the incredible energy Godzilla was expending, or perhaps it was a miracle, but Riddor's body regained its vitality and returned from hell.
Godzilla looked at its dead brethren and tried again, but was stopped by the roaring King Ghidorah in the next second.
From King Ghidorah's perspective, Godzilla is currently using its own energy to rescue the troublesome wrecker.
King Ghidorah angrily spread its wings and took to the air, launching an attack on Godzilla, but Godzilla in its Crimson form was even more furious and retaliated with extreme power.
As King Ghidorah swooped down like a collapsing mountain, Godzilla roared furiously, its howl tearing through the sky.
High-temperature pulses, without blind spots, emanate from its body, forming a semi-circular energy field that spreads outwards, turning everything in its path into ashes through the leaping combustion phase.
The violent thermonuclear pulse swept across Ghidorah's body in an instant, destroying its newly grown flesh membrane and causing extensive burns to its body surface.
Despite this, King Ghidorah, undeterred by the pain, roared forward and slammed its forelimbs against Godzilla's scorching body, completely disregarding the heat and the pain.
Godzilla staggered, and in a moment of confusion, his body was torn open by Ghidorah's claws, leaving gruesome wounds.
Despite the intense heat and the burning pain, King Ghidorah kept biting at Godzilla's head, trying to absorb energy, but even though its head and muscles were roasted, it still gained nothing.
Godzilla angrily swung its claws, gathering energy within them, and blasted Ghidorah away with a single blow. Then, it unleashed another thermonuclear pulse, sending Ghidorah flying from a distance.
The intense heat brewed in Godzilla's mouth, eventually transforming into a burning spiral of heat rays that were reflected in Ghidorah's eyes.
The Ghidorah dragon head hesitated for a moment, but then decisively and quickly moved to dodge. Its attack missed, but instead pierced through the entire continent, almost splitting it in two, and lava raged.
Godzilla's fiery figure, amidst the crimson world, resembled a demon from hell, relentlessly pressing forward.
King Ghidorah was equally terrifying; despite being at a disadvantage, it still managed to hold its own against Godzilla in its Crimson form.
The battle between the two sides continued, with the scorching heat spreading rampantly throughout the war, constantly engulfing the entire continent. As far as the eye could see, the continent was reduced to a sea of fire.
The already devastated continent trembled violently, seemingly on the verge of collapse. The land was turning into lava, the sea was rising, or rather, the entire continent was sinking.
In the sky, Mothra keenly sensed that Godzilla's energy was rising higher and higher, and its strength and self-healing ability were becoming increasingly astonishing. King Ghidorah was sliding into complete defeat.
This should have been a good thing, but Godzilla's back was melting like a lit candle, the lava patterns on its body were becoming thicker and thicker, and the temperature was becoming increasingly astonishing. Seeing this, Mothra stopped its auxiliary attack and instantly flew into the air above Godzilla, once again scattering scales to maintain Godzilla's condition as much as possible.
This time, however, Mothra's scales no longer worked. Godzilla's body continued to self-melt, and its energy load increased until King Ghidorah was completely overwhelmed, its golden body almost charred black.
Mothra let out a series of cries, knowing that Godzilla's condition was now irreversible.
Seeing this, it launched a suicide attack on Ghidorah, accelerating Ghidorah's defeat.
As a burning spiral ray pierced Ghidorah's chest, it collapsed onto the lava, powerless to fight any longer. Its body was melting as it let out a defiant roar.
"Thump—"
A deafening roar echoed through the crimson inferno as Godzilla approached King Ghidorah, its body already melted in many places, its mouth churning with deadly, burning spirals of heat.
Faced with this extraterrestrial dragon that killed his adopted son, Godzilla showed no mercy, only brutality fueled by boundless rage.
King Ghidorah's remaining dragon head was also staring at Godzilla, its eyes filled with no fear or mockery, only anger and the desire to kill Godzilla.
Just as the burning spiral heat ray fell, the situation changed again. Ghidorah's wrecked body was pulled into the sky by an invisible force.
Its speed was extremely fast, as if it was violently pulled into the stratosphere by some force, and then entered another world.
All of this seemed to indicate that Ghidorah's mission was complete and it was entering the recovery phase.
During this time, Ghidorah showed no joy; instead, it struggled violently, its remaining eyes fixed on Godzilla as if it wanted to fight it to the death.
But clearly, the Yapools wouldn't let their important first experimental subject die like that. They forcibly stopped Ghidorah's thinking and prepared to pull it into another dimension.
Just then, a dazzling light rose in the crimson world, and infinite spiraling heat rays shot straight up into the sky, engulfing Ghidorah.
In the sinking world, Godzilla, whose original form was no longer recognizable, raised its head and unleashed its strongest breath ever. A crimson torrent shot straight into the sky, and the unparalleled heat annihilated Ghidorah before Yapool could react. It shot straight into the empty deep space, piercing a corner of the bright moon hanging high in the universe, and the fragments were as dazzling as fireworks.
On the Earth's surface, when the belated Snow Demon arrived with the frost, the land was unrecognizable, and even the remnants of civilization were destroyed.
Godzilla's body remained upright, and despite being on the verge of melting and dying, and being tormented by the deadly heat, its will remained exceptionally clear.
The extreme low temperature of the Snow Demon manifested as its breath, and the aftershocks spread across the entire continent with the force of freezing the earth.
The Snow Demon continuously spewed icy breath at Godzilla, trying to cool him down.
The Snow Demon didn't know whether its breath could cool Godzilla and save it, but it could at least prevent Godzilla from burning through the entire Earth.
The Snow Demon succeeded; its energy successfully stopped Godzilla's temperatures, which were high enough to scorch the Earth, from continuing to rise.
But it failed. Even though Godzilla's temperature stopped rising, it couldn't survive in this state. Death would still come as scheduled.
Godzilla's dissolution continues, and it has almost lost consciousness.
In its final moments, Godzilla's last sight was an eerie blue light that appeared out of nowhere.
as well as--
A massive, mountain-like shadow.
That wasn't Mothra, nor Lydore, nor any Titan; it seemed to be the invincible self of the past—

In the cold universe, Longbo withdrew his gaze from Earth and the shattered moon, and turned it back to the battered Zetton not far away.
In the orbit of Saturn and several of its moons, Lumbert used his psionic powers to teleport there, quickly confirming that the Zettonians were dead and finding Zetton, who was accumulating an even stronger fireball.
Thus began a one-sided pursuit in this cold universe.
He manipulated the magnetic fields of Saturn's many moons as a slingshot, propelling himself forward at high speeds, and sometimes used psionic teleportation to catch up with Zetton's teleportation speed.
Lumber appeared beside Zetton without warning, his warhammer, forged from psionic flames, swung with the charge of a field of particles.
The blow swept head-on towards Zetton's arm as he gathered power, unleashing a fatal strike without reservation.
The blow shattered his arm, and the energy of the electric particles dissipated into deep space. The energy that Zetton had accumulated during his escape also dissipated.
Upon receiving the hit, Zetton did not flee. Instead, he instinctively carried out his final command to kill the spacetime monster before him, even if it meant destroying the planet.
If Zetton could indeed destroy a star through trickery, then that would require a very long time to accumulate power.
It had tried, but the Time-Space Monster didn't give it the chance and quickly thwarted its idea.
It quickly considered other options but came up with nothing. Then it turned to face the spacetime monster, its narrow vertical slits flashing and its sharp claws gathering power.
The Zetton Ultimate Beam, like layers upon layers of waves, pierced through the cold depths of space, heading straight for the monster.
