Learning to Love Again

The entire fortieth floor was set aside for the president, personal staff and meetings. Bella branched off into a spacious corner office reserved for the President's secretary.

The double-doored office behind hers was for President. Su Lian walked inside with Ryan in tow.

It was very large with exquisite furnishing and a simple, yet elegant design.

She busied herself at her new desk while Ryan stared at her with a pondering look on his face.

Feeling his gaze on her back, Su Lian whips her head around to glare at him.

"No work to do?"

Ryan flashes a bright smile on his handsome face before replying.

"Do you have some vendetta against that poor Mr. Wei?"

After being her personal assistant for two years, he knew her behaviors like the back of his hand. She is quick and decisive, but not ruthless.

Doing something petty like firing a man for obstructing their path was way out of character for her.

Upon hearing his question, Su Lian grins devilishly.

"That reminds me, I need you to get me all his information. Everything there is on him. His wife, children, friends, acquaintances, habits, places he frequently visits, leave no stone unturned."

Ryan is a professional hacker. A twenty-six-year-old computer genius. There is almost no information that he can't dig up or security code he can't bypass. But for unknown reasons, he works as Su Lian's assistant.

'All his information?' Ryan smiles knowingly. For her to get this deep into a background check, it means that she is out for revenge.

"Anything for a beautiful face. I'll get all the information you need for his destruction ready for you in about an hour."

Su Lian raises an eyebrow.

"Destruction?"

"Aren't you out to destroy him. How did he hurt Yichen?"

He knew that it was impossible for this revenge plot to have nothing to do with her son. Su Lian would only flip her switch when it came to Su Yichen. He was her dragon's reverse scale.

"He didn't do anything to Xiao Chen, his mistress did. Unfortunately for him, I need to cripple her. Squeeze her dry until she has nothing left. He is just her first asset that I am choosing to take away. "

"Squeeze her dry? Is that all?"

Ryan shakes his head in disapproval before taking a seat on one of the chairs in front of her desk.

"How about we do something more exciting."

"Go now," Su Lian orders. "And get me an expresso on your way back."

"Ah, the things I do for love."

Ryan exclaims and laughs before hurriedly exiting her office leaving her alone with her thoughts.
