Alvar, Kerras, Ace, Brenna, Aura, Gary, Ash, Ethan, Silver, Lyra, and a Unknown figure hiding his identity and figure like Liam, were the top trainers in this Championship. The following days; they ran through the competition with nobody to stop them, and the Elite Four had made sure that they didn't encounter each other so that they'd be able to battle it out when they got to the top 10 matches.

Liam continued to dominate as he and Tyranitar ran through the competition with no problems. In one of the battles, Tyranitar had run into a powerful water user who had a Feraligator and Blastoise.

Both of his Pokémon were above a level 90, which surprised Liam because he had never heard of this guy who called himself Zane, but honestly, he did not care because Tyranitar could still take him down in no time.

Van was a little annoyed because Liam still refused to take out his second Pokémon for the battle, making it a one versus two competition. If it gave Zane the easy win, he did not mind as he sent out both of his water Pokémon. As soon as the battle started, Liam simply looked away as he left Tyranitar in charge to fight the battle on his own.

Tyranitar grinned because he knew that the two he was facing used water attacks, so he had to be a little careful as they were relatively high level. They both used a Hydro pump right away. In contrast, Tyranitar used an Earthquake to shake off their attacks as their aim went off a little bit, allowing Tyranitar to dodge both attacks.

Tyranitar continued as he stomped on the ground, and a huge crack appeared within the earth. The two Pokémon took quite a bit of damage but still held on to each other as they supported one another and took most of the damage.

Tyranitar was a little annoyed that they survived one of his strongest attacks, but he was not concerned as he charged towards them and used Crunch.

Both Feraligator and Blastoise, retaliated by using an Ice beam to push off the Crunch attack coming towards them. Alas, the Crunch attack was way more potent than the combined Ice beams as it held off their attacks and made it dissipate in a small explosion.

Tyranitar had had enough of this battle as he summoned a sandstorm causing the two water Pokémon to go blind as Tyranitar disappeared within the sandstorm.

Zane ordered his two water Pokémon to use Rain dance. Just when the water was pushing all the sand away to clear up the stage; a blast came from the center of the stage, knocking both the Pokémon out in one go.

The announcer checked on the two Pokémon as the crowd cheered on as he said, "Both Feraligator and Blastoise have been knocked out. The winner is Mr. E." Tyranitar used a hyper beam with the cover of the sandstorm and the two Pokémon weren't expecting it and were both hit, knocking them both out.

'It seems like Tyranitar went all out on that hyper beam as it was larger than usual and was able to take out two Pokémon in one go' Liam thought and smiled a little as he saw the improvements that Tyranitar had made. He was not joking around anymore and got straight to the point which he liked about him.

Zane looked at him and realized that Liam didn't even put him in his eyes as he got angry and said, "I'll get you back for this. I was supposed to make it to the next round." 'I was also supposed to win a bet, but now that I've lost all my money, you're going to have to pay for it' Zane thought as he started to formulate a plan to get back at Liam for ruining his chances to win.

When Zane got back into the waiting room, he noticed that the loan sharks were waiting for him. He got scared and begged them not to do anything yet and that he will get the money by tomorrow.

The two loan sharks looked at each other before they nodded and said, "You have 24 hours. If you cannot come up with half a million pokecoins, you'll be singing a different tune."

Too frustrated with this as he thought, 'This new organization does not play and they are taking over the whole region by storm, nobody is safe. I might have to report this to the police if I can't pay back in time; otherwise, not even my Pokémon can save me'.

But then he thought about how powerful Liam was and wondered whether he could get his help if he failed to retrieve the money on time. He asked who else was weak enough for him to go and blackmail.

Honestly, he was tired of this life, so he would go up to Liam and ask him for help. That was the best thing he could probably do for himself and his Pokémon to survive this ordeal.

He knew Liam was powerful, so if he was able to use his powers to take down a large organization such as the Shadows, then he will be doing that not only for himself but the whole region.

He laughed at the thought of those two going at each other and in the end if they both were able to take each other out, he would reap all the benefits from the battles between the two as his eyes droned over that powerful-looking Tyranitar

'I need that Tyranitar in my team. If I get him, I will be able to take over the world' thought Zane as he laughed sinisterly'.
