Loving You: A Blessing or a Curse?

"How lovely," Stephanie exclaims while taking a tour of the villa the company had given Su Lian.

Chris probably took a lot of things into consideration while arranging this. Everything was made to suit her taste.

It is a luxurious five bedroom villa in a very nice neighborhood. It has an exquisitely furnished interior with an outdoor pool and a garden.

Their home was only a five-minute drive from a private school which was very convenient because Su Lian was rethinking her decision. She felt as if she was holding her son back. He was only three, but extremely smart for his age so she decided to have him start preschool and see how he would fair. Having a school so close would make things a lot easier. If it was too hard or he felt uncomfortable, she would wait till next year. He could stay home with Stephanie while she was at work.

"Wow! This room is so big and it has racecars on the wall." Yichen laughs happily jumping on his new bed and staring at the racecar wallpaper.

If you haven't guessed yet, he has a thing for racecars.

"Do you like it, baby?"

"Mmm hmm."

"Well we're going to live here now and you'll start school. Do you want to go to school?"

Su Lian sits in bed and holds her son in her arms.

"Can I draw pictures there?"

"Of course you can. You can draw as many pictures as you want."

He looks up at her with a smile before nodding his head in agreement.

"Then, we can go check it out later while we're out for lunch."

Su Lian would need to officially begin work tomorrow so she decided to explore the neighborhood with her son today, Stephanie still has jet lag so she stayed in to rest.

They got dressed and walked to a car parked in front of her villa. A middle-aged man was sitting in the driver's seat of a white Rolls-Royce. He was her new driver who had been arranged for her by the company along with the car.

She smiled in greeting to the driver before asking him to take them to the nearest restaurant.

Su Yichen had his face glued to the window the entire time completely engrossed in absorbing all the new sights. He would exclaim anytime he found something that fascinated him. Su Lian laughed feeling that her son was too cute.

Even the driver couldn't help but feel amused. The little boy was very adorable, he knew a lot of things despite how tiny he was."
