Loving You: A Blessing or a Curse?

Before long, Kim Xia takes the stage and the crowd goes wild.

People sing along with her and jump about in front of their seats.

Midway through the show, Su Yichen tugs on his mother's sleeve and looks up at her with sleepy eyes.

"Bedtime." He says with a pout.

It's already eight o'clock. Normally, his mommy would have tucked him into bed by now.

Su Lian chuckles at his tired face. She wasn't expecting the concert to go on for this long.

She sits in her chair and cradles him in her arms. "We'll go home soon baby. It's almost over."

Looking at the mother and child snuggled in one seat, Han Lili couldn't resist. She took another picture of them and sent it to her mother.

Liu Yumei sent a bunch of heart eye emojis and texted a reply.

MOM: 'Send me more.'

Han Lili ignores her text and turns to face Su Lian. "We can leave now so he can get some sleep. It's too loud here." she offers.

Su Lian nods her head and they make their way towards the exit.

Han Lili drives them home and they bid goodbye. Su Yichen is already fast asleep so Su Lian carries him in her arms. "This was fun, we should do this again some other time."

Han Lili's eyes shine with delight. "Definitely."

She waits until Su Lian and her son walk through the gate before she drives home.

Han Lili barely takes a step through the door before her mother pounces on her.

"You brat, how can you ignore my text message?"

Han Lili swiftly dodges her mother's attack and tries to defend herself. "I wasn't ignoring you, I was just prioritizing. Yichen needed to sleep so I had to take them home first."

Liu Yumei stops her attack. "Yichen. Is that his name?"

Han Lili nods her head in confirmation. "Yup, Su Yichen."

"Not Su Yichen, Han Yichen." Liu Yumei immediately corrects her daughter's 'error'.

"Well, for now, it's still Su Yichen. Yuan has no right to claim the kid. He doesn't even know the boy exists."

"What do you mean?" Liu Yumei takes a seat and asks with a serious expression.

"Su Lian never told him."

Han Haoran walks in and sees his wife and daughter congregating with serious expressions.

Feeling the tense atmosphere, he wants to leave but it's too late. They've already seen him.

With an awkward smile, he greets them. "My two favourite girls. Is there something wrong?"

"Ran'er, we have a grandchild." Liu Yumei says looking up at her husband.

Han Haoran's smile dissolves and he turns to stare at Han Lili with bloodshot eyes.

"Lili you're pregnant? Who is the bastard that dares to get my only daughter pregnant? I Han Haoran will skin him alive or my name isn't-"

"Calm down. The child has already been born and it isn't Lili's."

Haoran softens his expression before widening his eyes incredulously.

If the child isn't Lili's, then that means it's Yuan's.
