Magi Craft Meister

47-15 Demonstration

Jen's 'Dolphin' will run the course set for the race.

This course was set last night in Jen and Malika and is the first one you will see today. I mean, no one's ever run yet, that's why I saw it for the first time.

The Dolphin runs there as a reference for participants.

It will also take time, so it will be an exemplary voyage in a sense, and that time will be standard or target time.

The audience stared at the screen in solitary spit.

'Okay, exemplary sailing, we'll start!

At the same time as that announcement, the Dolphin began abruptly.

Ooh, the voice goes up.

The Dolphin drives its first straight line as it pulls a white trail behind its back. Firstly, a straight line of approximately five kilometers. Naturally, the ability of the ship will be tested.

"Estimated speed, 90 km/h! Awesome speed!

It is said that the speed of the boat races taking place in Japan is 80-90 km/h, so that is about it.

But the Dolphin is not yet at its full strength.

'Whoa, ma, it's still going up! Over a hundred kilometers an hour! Estimated speed, 120 km/h!

The twirl turns into cheer.

The boat in the racing boat is small, so it seems dangerous to give it 100 km/h, but the Dolphin is nine meters long, and a little more stable because it is a three-torso vessel.

'Uh, it's called' hydroplaning, 'and there's a phenomenon that rises when you run fast over water. It is a single-torso ship, and it will rise leaving the stern part, but this is unstable because it is bordered by the water at one point to support the hull. So it's a three-torso ship. "

Hydroplaning couldn't be done with the waterwheel-driven 'Swan (Signus)'.

As a result, the phenomenon of tyre floating without tyre grooves draining out water when the automobile runs at high speeds through wet road surfaces is also called hydroplaning.

The Dolphin drives at super high speeds while bordering the sea level with three points.

It is the airship that floats above it that reflects it.

This airship is the work of Malika and boasts a maximum speed of 160 km/h. We can keep up with the speed of the Dolphin.

And less than three minutes later, the first corner comes. All of a sudden you turn right from a straight line. The corner radius is 20R (20m) so it's pretty tight.

The Dolphin slowed down in front of the corner because it just couldn't bend while keeping the highest speed.

"In front of the first corner, the Dolphin slows down! But they're still coming out more than 50 kilometers an hour!

It will also be compared to the racing boat, but in the racing boat the turn will remain almost at the highest speed.

You've slowed down a lot.

Jen whines as she watches the screen.

"Father, I still think if you're not used to it, you're scared of people, right?

And, rarely did I get a scratch from Reiko.

"Is that true, too? Edith is a fifteen-year-old girl."

No matter how active your wife was... I wonder what scares you, Jen convinces me.

Plus, the ship's been set to mild.

"Yes, you did."

The Dolphin opened the side thruster completely.

The raised hull becomes oblique relative to the direction of travel. Naturally, the force of the propulsion also turned diagonally, generating a force that turned inside the corner, called 'Heart-seeking force'.

Due to mechanical laws, the Dolphin changes course in the synthetic direction between force by inertia and courtship.

"The Dolphin, we're changing directions without the rudder! These methods have been considered before, and we have a proven track record of using them, but I didn't know they operated so brilliantly, that's Magic Engineer Magicraft Jazz!

A big cheer boiled down.

After the right angle curve, a fast course that arcs loudly. The radius of that arc is also subtly changing, so I can imagine that if you're distracted by giving it speed, you'll be coursing out.

"The Dolphin, we're driving at the highest speed! And I plugged it into the second corner, the 500R!

We can bend over here at the highest speed, but the ship may be a little harsh if it's unstable.

Circular motion at 120 km/h is because it creates a great centrifugal force and breaks the ship's posture.

The centrifugal force hangs on the center of gravity of the ship, so when the center of gravity is above the surface of the water, the ship tilts outward.

The ships sailing at high speeds are rising, so the centre of gravity is definitely above the surface of the water first.

Jen had taken that into account and, after several attempts and errors, had determined the mounting position and the injection angle of the side thruster.

Of course, the test voyage was Reiko, so experiments could be carried out at the highest speed without any hesitation.

"The Dolphin, paint a stunning arc and complete the 500R!

Turn 500 Rs and it will be a straight course back to the island again.

And waiting in front of the island is a hairpin curve. The radius is 30 meters.

"Ooh!"

Cheers up.

Edith set the turn at a much faster speed than the first corner, although he slowed down slightly.

"I guess I'm getting used to it."

Jen groans pompously.

The course takes a straight line again before entering the technical area.

Ten R zigzag curves in a row.

To the right and to the left, the direction changes dramatically. Those who are unfamiliar will get drunk, but Edith doesn't have to worry about that because it's the Golems who actually fight the race, anyway.

And after passing through an area that combines a short straight line with a right angle curve, it becomes a straight line to the island again......

If you set a 180 degree turn near the shore, it will be a quick goal.

Approximately 36 km per circumference. It's less than 22 minutes at an average speed of 100 kilometers an hour.

"The Dolphin, we're back! The time is... 21 minutes and 36 seconds! We have a record of an average speed of 100 km/h!!

"Well, I guess."

Jen seems satisfied.

Last night, when Reiko tested after the course setup, flat for 19 minutes with the same setup. It was about 113 km/h on average.

Let's just say it's a good enough time because it's Edith who's human.

In the race, this course is to be circled two times.

'Come on, it looks like all ships are ready!

"Looking forward to it."

The announcement flows and ten ships line up in the starting position.

"Good luck, guys."

As Jen, I can't fool anyone.

Although I do care when it comes to the youngest Rubina being a little concerned.

"From Zeke 1 to 10, we lined up on the horizontal line!

In front of the ten ships a red rope is lowered from the airship. You can pull it up at the start.

"How would Master Jin view this race?

Trihardt sitting next to me has been asking questions.

"Right...... Seems like we've been working on something for each of us, so I won't allow prediction... but I'm paying attention to 7 and 10."

As for Jen, he said he wanted to focus on how much he was taking new attempts to a practical level.

"I see, I get it"

"5… 4… 3… 2… 1…"

It's finally a start.
