"Who gave you the permission to hitch a ride with me?" Damon asked with annoyance when Lance sat on the passenger's seat.

"My car is currently in repair so I need a ride." Lance was done buckling his seat belt when he answered. "And it will be economical if we only use one car, don't you think?"

Damon starts the car and maneuvers it towards the gate. "I never knew you care for our economy."

Chuckling at his brother's sarcasm, "I am just a very considerate man. By the way, is it true that you have a son with your girlfriend?"

Damon glance at his brother to see how excited he was to hear gossips. "It is none of your business."

Lance wailed in frustration, can't his brother just give him a juicy answer. "It is just surprising to hear that you have a girlfriend and what's more amazing is that the two of you have a son! why didn't I hear about this?"

Damon would love to punch his brother so hard but unfortunately he is driving, maybe later he can strangle him to death.

"If your planning on murdering your beloved brother think twice, I can be very useful you know. I can be a very loyal, trustworthy and lovable ally." Lance saw his brother's menacing look so to prevent his impending doom he tried to weasel his way to safety.

Damon scoffed at his brother's antics, "then prove yourself worthy, if I find your performance lacking expect Zoey to hear your escaped in Italy."

Lance face turned ashen when he heard Damon's threat, to hide his fear Lance pretend to be not affected. "Why bother Zoey, we are no longer in a relationship."

Damon looked at Lance accusingly, "All thanks to your stupidity."

"Argh..! I know it was my fault for being stupid and for not trusting Zoey but I am planning to make my move and try to woo her again."

Seeing his brother's conflicted mood, Damon pat Lance shoulder. He knows how much Lance love Zoey and their break up caused the two to hurt badly.

Sighing, Lance looked outside the window. Feeling the pat on his shoulder, he looked over his brother. Damon gave him an encouraging smile before focusing his eyes on the road. They fight and argue but at the end of the day they can always rely on each other.

Damon was contemplating if he will tell the truth to his brother but in the end he told him the truth about Ichigo.

"What?! He is not your son, then why?" Lance was totally flabbergasted. What is Damon thinking adopting a kid. "Wait are you being blackmailed? No, that is impossible no one dares to blackmail you. Then is the girl a witch?" The only reason his brother was so willing is because he has fallen victim to the witch's charm. He must meet this despicable woman and show her that no one can mess with his family.

Damon laughed, "what nonsense are you spouting."

"My God, please help my brother. Let me contact someone who can do exorcism on you." Lance fumbled on his phone, "will you stop laughing, this is a serious matter."

Damon suppress his laughter to not farther upset his brother. "Your reaction is a comical version of dad's."

Lance stopped dialing his dad's number, "he knows about this but he did not stop you, does mom know about this too?"

"Mom doesn't know so you better zip your mouth but yes dad knows."

Lance was even more confused now, why does their father allow such trickery? "why then did he allow your craziness?"

Damon again told the event that took place, starting from the time Ichigo and him met until the time he saw Hestia and how he felt about Ichigo and the blooming love he felt for Hestia.

"So what you are saying is that you fell in love at first sight and that you want no slashed that desire to be Ichigo's father." Lance look at him incredulously.

Damon nod his head. "That is correct."

"Wow! Ichigo and Hestia are incredible. When will I meet my awesome nephew and sister - in - law?" Who would have thought that in a single meeting his cold hearted brother who loves his freedom so much is now planning to be a family oriented guy. He can't wait to see Ichigo and Hestia in person, they are too awesome to convert his brother to be a family guy. "But what about Lily?" For all he knows Damon was still waiting for her.

Damon frowned, "She is in the past."

Lance laughed. "Good answer, I never liked that woman anyway, she is way too annoying. So when will I meet my cute nephew and beautiful sister - in - law?" He's really excited to meet them.
