Damon sighed, so this is the start of his battle, "If you're worried about your neighbor talking shit about us, we can just say that I am Ichigo's father and soon we will get married end of the story." He is confident about his suggestion but Hestia was thinking otherwise, she cannot believe this man's way of thinking, he was proposing marriage like he was just presenting a business proposal.

"Are you out of your mind!? We are total strangers to each other so how can you just blurt marriage that easily, what if you found your true love will you leave us just because we married for convenience?" Hestia was trying not to cry, she feels like her feelings are being toyed. She can probably recover from the heartache but what about her son, she can see how attach Ichigo is to Damon, so if they decided to split or divorce Ichigo will suffer the most and as a mother she will not allow her son to experience such heartbreak.

"I hope you understand Mr. Gray, I cannot put Ichigo in a situation wherein he will suffer a lot, so if you're just playing around please find someone else." Hestia discreetly wiped the tears in her eyes. Fudge this man! ever since she met Damon her emotions are always in haywire.

Damon saw her wipe her tears and it breaks his heart that she doesn't trust his words, damn the man who left a huge scar on her beautiful heart, if he finds that bastard he will surely make him regret that he was even born. Damon pulled Hestia towards him and he guides her to sit between him and Ichigo. Ichigo cuddled his mom while Damon leaned Hestia's head on his shoulder and kissed her head, he then enveloped the two in his embrace.

Kissing her head and gently stroking it, Damon promised to himself that he will be the perfect complement for her. "Sweetheart I already found my true love." He smiled when he saw the murderous glint in her eyes. "Jealous are we?" He can't help but to tease Hestia, teasing her is now his favorite hobby aside from their family bonding.

Damon and Ichigo high five to further tease Hestia. "Don't be jealous sweetheart, I would not confess my undying love to you if you're not my true love." Looking at her blushing cheeks, Damon gave Hestia a chaste kiss on her lips.

Ichigo squealed when he saw the kiss, not wanting to be bested by his father he also gave his mom a kiss on her cheeks. Feeling the heat on her face, Hestia covered her face while the two boys laughed happily at her reactions.

"So I guess I'll be staying." Hestia sighed in defeat. She just can't win against these two.

Damon and Ichigo both kissed Hestia's cheeks due to their happiness, "Thanks mom!"

"Thanks sweetheart!" both of them even said their thanks in unison, this made Hestia giggle, in her mind they do act like father and son.

Hestia stood up to cook for their late lunch, "Behave you two while I make our lunch." She said using her stern voice. The duo nod their heads, they look like well behave boys but in reality they are mischievous. Hestia narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms, "I mean it you two, no monkey business."

"Yes ma'am!" Damon and Ichigo both answered they even gave Hestia a salute.

Somewhat convince Hestia decided to leave the two to cook but before she leaves to Damon asked her where will he sleep. "Is it not obvious? Of course you'll be sleeping on the sofa." She smiled when she saw his disappointed look. That's what you get for constantly teasing me.

"I thought that we'll be sleeping together while cuddling." Damon winked at her. His voice was low and sensual.

Shameless, this guy is truly shameless. "In your dreams!" Hestia dashed towards the kitchen to avoid anymore teasing but that Damon just can't give her peace of mind.

"Oh I will surely see you in my dreams sweetheart and we will be both breathless from dancing!"

"Pervert!!" Hestia's whole body was hot from embarrassment. His words made her remember their hot encounter inside the car, she cursed Damon because now she felt even hot and bothered.

"Dad will you be really dreaming about dancing with mom?" Hestia heard her son's innocent question.
