Make my Mom Fall in Love with Dad

With a stern voice Lila called her son. "Damon stay away from them!" She briefly glanced at Hestia before focusing her attention to her son's face.

Damon looked at his mom with wide eyes. He was stunned by what she said.

"Are you deaf? I said move away from them!"

Damon squints his eyes, his brows were knitted a sign that he's getting irritated. He clenched and unclenched his fist. He looked over at Hestia and signalled her to stay behind him and she answered with a nod. Hestia then carried Ichigo before she stood behind Damon. She protectively embraced her son.

Lila raised a brow at how Damon stood like an alpha wolf ready to defend his pack. "I'm your mother, how can you take the side of these outsiders." She coldly stared at Hestia who was peeking over Damon's shoulder.

Damon tried to calm himself, he doesn't want to get angry at his mother but she's making it hard for him to stay filial. "Mom, are you being serious right now?"

"Do I look like I'm joking with you?"

Damon's jaw tightened. Whenever his mom uses her stern voice it only means she's serious. "I won't spare anyone who plans to harm Hestia and Ichigo not even my own family."

Lila was hurt by how Damon talked to her. Her filial son is now turning against her just because of a woman and a child. "That bastard is not even your kid, so why defend them this badly!" She said with an indignant tone. Lila will not allow her son to treat her like an enemy. "Can't you see, I'm doing this for your own good. If you continue with this baloney you'll only receive criticisms and humiliations and do you want them-" Lila gestured towards Hestia and Ichigo. "to be criticized as well."

Hestia grabbed Damon's arm. She looked at him when she felt how tense he was. "Damon." Hestia whispered. "Let us leave first and talk with your mother. Remember she's your mother so you should be respectful, don't be too harsh on her because she's only concern for your well being." She caressed his arm to sooth his anger.

Damon appreciated how Hestia was still calm and collected in this situation. He was also grateful to be with a sensible woman. "Sweetheart you can't leave. I need your and Ichigo's support." He briefly kissed Hestia on her lips and kissed Ichigo's forehead.

"Dad don't be angry towards grandma, she's my beautiful grandma afterall." Ichigo supported what his mom said. He doesn't want his dad and family to fight, besides he knows that his grandma is a wise and a good person and she's doing all this for a good cause.

Lila scoffed. "Damon stop taking advantage of the situation to kiss and show your affection towards Hestia it's giving me goosebumps." Damon only smirked at his mom. "Can you really protect those two from any harm?"

"Don't doubt my capabilites mom, you of all people know that I can crush anyone who's standing in my way." Damon confidently answered. He was not boasting it is just a fact that his powerful.

"Do you really love Hestia and Ichigo or you're just being sympathetic?" Lila further probe her son, she wants to know how far is he willing to sacrifice for Hestia and Ichigo.

"I never was sympathetic but I know that's not what I'm feeling for Hestia and Ichigo." Damon slightly squeezed Hestia's shoulder to assure her. "I definitely love them and no one can question how deep I've fallen because I know for sure that I can no longer live without them in my life."

Hestia's eyes watered, she felt how sincere Damon was. She leaned on him and whispered her gratitude. "Thanks Damon for loving me and my son." She tiptoed and kiss his cheek. Ichigo also kissed Damon's other cheek.
