Feeling the warmth of Lila, Hestia snuggled deep in to her embrace. She never felt this kind of loving embrace, sure Mrs. Tharros gave her hugs but not like how Lila hugged her. It was a very warm and welcoming hug and it was just what she needed right at that moment.

"Forgive me dear for opening up your wounds but I need you to know that this situations will happen and it might get even worse. We are not just an ordinary family Hestia, we have plenty of enemies and the worst of them all are those who act like sheeps but in actuality they are wolves." Lila looked straight at Hestia's eyes. "I'm telling you this because I care for you and Ichigo. Now that we've accepted you in our family many will try to befriend you for favors and worst some will hurt you physically and even mentality are you ready for that dear? Are you strong enough to stand beside my son and be able to support him?"

Hestia took a deep breath. 'Every word Lila said was like weights that are dragging her down. Can she really handle the responsibility of carrying Damon's name? Is she strong enough to fight for their happiness? She's a hyprocrite if she doesn't admit that she's scared and wanted to quit. Who in their right mind wants to be mentally tortured and be physically hurt for the second time? If you asked the old Hestia she will definitely answered no in a heartbeat and run away from it as far away as possible but the present her is no longer a coward. She learned to fight her battles for her and for her son's happiness and now that they can be truly happy she will not let it slipped through her fingers without any fight.'

Lila proudly smiled when she saw the fierce and determine look of Hestia. 'I am realy lucky to have met a strong woman as my daughter-in-law.'

"Don't worry m-mom I'll protect our family."

Lila affectionately caressed Hestia's cheek. "That's the answer I want to hear and don't worry we are all here for you, who ever dares to bring harm to our family will suffer ten folds!"

"My wife is right Hestia, you and Ichigo are now part of the family and now you're entitled to use the family's power to crush your enemies." Leo moved to his wife and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Hestia smiled brightly. She's really grateful for their understanding and care. "Thank you for accepting us as part of your family!"

"No dear, thank you for coming into our lives specially in Damon's bleak life."

"My wife's right, it is our honor to have a beautiful daughter-in-law."

Hestia blushed. Her cheeks are the color of ripe tomatoes. "I don't think I deserve so much praise and compliments."

"Hmph! What do you think of me?! Do I look like I'm hungry for power?" Hestia squint her eyes. She was a bit upset at what Damon's words were indicating.

"No! no. I'm just telling you that I don't mind if you use my name if ever you're in trouble. If in case I'm not around and people tries to harm or bully you I'm saying use the authority of being my wife to deal with them. I did not even for once thought of you as a power hungry bitch or as a gold digger, I don't dare to think such things about you sweetheart!"

Hestia smiled. "Well if you put it that way, I'll gladly accept your offer." She patted Damon's cheek.

Ichigo shaked his head. 'His dad is really under mom's spell.'

Lance secretly laughed. "Pussy whipped!" He whispered.
