Make my Mom Fall in Love with Dad

"Thanks dad!"

Damon observes Ichigo drink his milk, his cheeks puffs whenever he blows his milk. Ichigo's satisfied look made Damon smile in contentment.

Ichigo fiddled with his cup. He looked shyly at his dad and wondered if its okay to asked something.

Damon encouraged the boy to asked him anything. "What's on your mind Ichi? You know you can always asked me if anything is bothering you."

"What do you think of my father?" Ichigo was curious to know about his father's character. 'His mom once told him that he was a kind man but then if his kind why did he left his mom?'

Damon tap his finger on the table. "Let me think. Alec is a year younger than me so that means his 30 years old. He has good academic background, his popular with the girls during his highschool and college days. I can tell that his a kind man and a mama's boy. He is my exact opposite. He's more sociable and approachable and most of our relatives prefers him to be the family head instead of me."

"So in short his a good guy." Ichigo concluded.

Damon nodded. "He is what women calls a modern prince charming."

"Mmm.. then why did he left my mom?" Ichigo voiced his doubt.

Damon looked straight at his son's eyes. He can clearly see his confusion. "Because he is easy to manipulate."

Ichigo break their eye contact. "I'm worried that he will try to win us back." He remembered how his father quarrel with his dad. He saw the longing in his father's eyes when their eyes met for a moment.

"I won't allow that to happen. No one can separate us apart. Why did you asked do you want him to be your dad?" Damon seriously asked.

Ichigo shaked his head. "I only consider you as my dad." Ichigo confidently said with a smile.

Damon heaved a sigh of relief. "That's good to hear. Do you hate Alec?"

Ichigo sat quitely for a second. He was fiddling his chubby fingers. "I don't feel anything for him actually. I don't know him personally to feel a strong emotion like hate or love but I'm angry because of what he did to mom."

Damon pats Ichigo's head. "Don't worry Ichi will give him his proper beating for hurting your mom."

Ichigo grinned. "Mom won't like that, she hates violence."

"Will she ever know?"

"No." And they both chuckled and laughed.
