“When I looked to you for investment in the past, you acted like you weren’t interested.”

Yan Cheng’s gaze swept over coldly, ignoring his joke. “Who would mind earning more money?”

Er Teahouse made a lot of profit.

Sometimes, his friends said that they were jealous of him. He didn’t even need to do anything and he could earn all that money. That must be an amazing feeling.

That was true but they also knew that the management in Er House wasn’t as successful as before. There were countless established restaurants and clubs in the capital. Er Teahouse must be unique and managed differently in order to attract customers. In the early stage, if it weren’t that Yan Family was wealthy enough for Yan Cheng to experiment, Er Teahouse was indeed on the verge of closing down. After they got through that period of time, Er Teahouse was brought back to live. From then on, it had been becoming more and more prosperous. Within two years, it had made a reputation in the capital.

Today, Yan Cheng had already paid back the investment Yan Family made and even returned the interest too. He acted arrogant in front of his father and said, “I can support myself even if I don’t go to the company.”

People usually saw the end result, but didn’t see the sacrifices and hard work one had to make to become successful.

Undeniably, Er Teahouse made enough profit for Yan Cheng to support himself. But he didn’t want to continue this. He took a sip of tea and glanced at the window, narrowing his eyes. He said vaguely, “I need to raise my family!”

Chai Yue heard it clearly. Then, he rolled his eyes speechlessly.

Yan Cheng happily planned out, “I’m using the profit made from Er Teahouse to raise my wife.”

Yan Cheng crossed one leg over the other and exclaimed, “The money earned from investment will be used to raise my daughter.”

Yan Cheng thought about it before saying, “Ah, I will support both daughter and mother indulgently.”

Chai Yue was speechless.

The air suddenly became tense.

After a dozen seconds or so, the atmosphere relaxed.

Chai Yue’s expression transformed from one of confusion to shock. Then, he slapped his thigh and moved over, “Sister-in-law is pregnant?”

The moment he said this, he then looked at the cigarette boxes on the table, understanding.

Who knew that Yan Cheng shook his head. “No.”

Chai Yue was flabbergasted.

Yan Cheng exclaimed, “Don’t be anxious. You’ll get a chance to give us money.”

Yan Cheng continued, “Help me look after the investment first.”

Chai Yue nodded and patted his chest, “Leave it up to me.”

He paused for two seconds and then suddenly interjected, “Wait no, I remember that you still have shares in the Yan Group, no?”

Second Master Yan was in control of the Yan Group right now.

Chai Yue always thought that Yan Cheng eluded the same imposing manner as Second Master Yan when he placed away the casual and careless aura.

“I do.” Yan Cheng pursed his lips and continued, “The shares are for my son.”

Chai Yue didn’t know what to say.

It seems like you’ve already outlined your future blueprint.

Amazing, amazing.

Chai Yue secretly admired Chen Jinyao for having such a loyal husband and at the same time, he tugged the corner of his lips. “We just haven’t seen each other in a while and you managed to make me feel amazed at you still.”

“Young Master Yan, you changed.”

“Uncle Yan might not even recognize you at this point.”

Yan Cheng was speechless.

To speak the truth, Yan Cheng thought Chai Yue was just exaggerating. That was how he was at a person. However, he just hid himself usually.

Everyone had a facade.

However, Chai Yue was right. His encounters with his father always landed in fights and arguments. In his father’s eyes, he wasn’t worthy of respect.

Father Yan frequently said, “My son’s sole purpose is to anger me to death.”

Yan Cheng remembered this statement quite clearly.
