But before he could continue his thoughts, he saw a dark figure standing behind Jiang Cheng. His eyes went wide as he felt his whole body went cold, his heart grabbed by a large hand and about to crush it.

"Wanyin - !" he called and jumped towards Jiang Cheng when he saw the ghost – which he thought was going to disappear earlier, suddenly appeared and raised its hand to choke Jiang Cheng.

But, just as his body hit Jiang Cheng and they fell, he heard a wail. He turned and was shocked to see the ghost is wrapped by the Zidian.

"Ugh – " Jiang Cheng cried when, for the second time, they fell on the floor again – Lan Xichen still on top of him. (A/N: oi, oi. My mind is – XDXDXD)

Lan Xichen blinked and the Zidian wrapped the ghost tight until it burst. What... just happened - ? he thought and turned to Jiang Cheng who's still lying on the floor, not moving.

I give up. He thought as he lazily covered his eyes with his arm. This (falling on the floor and LXC is on top of him) already happened twice, and in a span of a very short time. It'd surely happen for the third time – he thought and sighed. "Move. You're heavy." He told him, weak, as he made the Zidian turn back to a ring.

"Wanyin...?" Lan Xichen called and absent-mindedly get off of him, still puzzled by what happened.

Jiang Cheng grimaced, clearly knew what happened. He didn't notice the ghost but Lan Xichen did, and just as a thought, the Zidian moved.

Yes. He thought, his face flushed as he covered his face. He made the Zidian recognize Lan Xichen as its master. (A/N: ssshheeeeettttt... ants again - ! <3 <3 <3 <3)

"Wanyin." Lan Xichen called, recovered from his shock. He gave his hand to Jiang Cheng to help him up.

Jiang Cheng didn't try to refuse and wholeheartedly took his (LXC) hand. But, just as Lan Xichen pulled him, they forgot on thing – the Lan Clan's arm strength is stronger than normal people.
