One day.

"Hey, hey. Don't you think Sect Leader Jiang is scary - ?"

"Yes, yes. He's always frowning and glaring at everyone – "

"Idiots. You only realized that just now – hii!"

They all immediately looked away and stood straight as Jiang Cheng passed by them.

He sighed as he walked away. "Idiots – " he muttered.

Next day.

"Hey – don't you think Sect Leader Jiang is… in a bright mood today - ?" one of the disciples said.

"Yes... He's always frowning and glaring at everyone – " another one said. "But, lately… he looks like he's smiling - ?"

"Idiots. You only realized that just now – ow!" another disciple cried when the first two hit him simultaneously. "What's that for - ?!" he snapped, crocodile tears in his eyes as he touched the two large red and smoking lumps behind his head.

"Hmph!" the two said and frowned at him, looking at him accusingly.

They all turned and their eyes went wide when they saw Jiang Cheng. They immediately stood straight as he passed by them.

He smiled as he walked away. "Idiots – " he muttered.

The disciples felt their cheeks flushed, their sect leader's surprisingly beautiful and pure smile now deeply imprinted in their mind.

"He really smiled…" they muttered.

A second after and they felt a chill in their spine when they felt a murderous aura behind them. And a second later, surprisingly, a pristine and jaded-looking man passed them like a soft and gentle breeze.

"Sect Leader Jiang." Lan Xichen called, smiling brightly at Jiang Cheng. He then walked towards him.

The disciples' forehead knotted. "Did we just imagine it - ?" they muttered, puzzled, referring to the murderous aura they felt earlier.
