"Thank you," I said to the cart vendor as I took the ice cream, before walking away.

This is the last day on the island, and it is as bustling as it was on the first day I came here.

It seemed even more bustling than the first day. New ships have docked at its port, bringing thousands of more tourists in it.

It was hard to imagine; this was the place of the great battle where Primes fought. Hundreds of Sky Sovereigns and thousands of Earth Sovereigns died along with countless other people.

The island had remained safe thanks to the dome. Its residents, too, had remained relatively unharmed, with them hiding in the bunker.

The Grimm's attacks aren't rare on this island. At least one happens in every century; the one before the last one happened eighty-seven years ago.

I am glad I survived and even got some benefits, but now, I just want, that docked ship to move again. So, I could reach the Tor. Many are thinking the same. I heard a few even petitioned for Prime to disembark early.

Unfortunately, their required wasn't granted.

Others might have gotten bored, but I was busy. I was working every day, every hour. It is only today, that I got out to enjoy this beautiful island.

It will be a long time if ever I come back to this island and I want to enjoy it as much as possible.

I only have till evening before I have to return to the ship. It will resume the journey at midnight after the victory. Yes, the prime is throwing the party in honor of those who died and fought the battle.

Attendance isn't mandatory, and I don't want to attend it, but I will. I don't want to do anything, that will attract the eyes of Prime.

I finished the ice cream and continued to walk, before stopping a few minutes later for peach dessert.

The island had great food, and I had bought a lot, including recipe books.

I roamed around the island and even a lunch at the restaurant, I had dinner in. The teen girl had served me, and I left with a good tip.

Hours passed, and before I knew it. It was evening.

People moved toward the ship. I waited for a while for the crowd to thin out before entering inside.

"Wow! They are spending a lot of energy on this," said the man beside me as I entered the great hall. I have been here once, and it was not as big as it is right now; it is clear they have expanded it.

It impressed me.

The expansion itself isn't surprising, but how much they have expanded. It is over twenty-five times, which isn't easy or cheap to do, even for a short time, in an unanchored space.

Doing it with the anchored space is much cheaper.

I looked around and saw thousands of people, including Ven and Sarena; the young girl wasn't present. Only those who took part in the battle were invited to the banquet.

Soon, I found my seat; it was beside a beautiful horned Sky Sovereign woman with smooth brown skin and the tall Eagle Beastman.

"Hell, I am Carlos," I said. "Zarna," said the woman. "Metyr," said the man. I shook their hands before sitting between them.

I remember both of them. They fought well in the battle and were stronger than me, but I have killed more Grimms. I think the reason I sat among the stronger Sky Sovereign is because of the kill count.

It is higher than any one of them.

"They have spared no expense on the preparations," said Zarla, looking around the floating chandelier with burning fire. There is a faint fragrance coming out of the fire, that makes one feel all warm inside.

They are burning a special concoction. It's a healing type, that specifically targets tiny injuries in the body, that the body itself ignores.

It is a very expensive thing, which they are burning without care.

Unfortunately, it is of no use to me. There are barely any tiny injuries in my body and those that are couldn't be healed by it. While it might not be useful, it is pleasant, and I enjoyed it along with the conversation.

I was talking about those sitting beside me when the clock ticked nine and everyone fell silent.

A moment later, we all got as the Prime stepped into the massive hall, followed behind by the captain and other officers of the ship.

Soon, he stopped at the podium and turned to us.

"Thank you all for gracing the great hall with your presence. So, we would honor who lost their lives fighting the great scourge,"

"The appearance of the spawns was sudden, and their numbers were great, but all of you had fought bravely against them. In the city on runes, you have fought with your life on the line, for it, I salute you," he said.

We did fight a great battle, but it would have been for naught, if not for the entry of the second Prime.

Without her, all would be lost.

The primes speed continued for ten more minutes, which he many those who lost their lives, before raising his glass.

"To the braves," he said.

"To the braves," we repeated before drinking the wine, which is also good.

Soon the staff came with an army of golems and began to serve them proficiently. I started to eat while having a conversation with people around me.

We talked about many things, but nothing that touched the secrets or one's origin. Though I had made plans to meet with some again. We will be on the ship for months. It would be great to make some contact.

Who knows, they might turn useful on the continent.

It was mid-night when the party-ended, that is when the ship disembarked from the dock and resumed the journey toward the destination.

I watched for a while with the people at the banquet before returning to my suit. It is just as I remember; there was no change, but I still carefully looked at everything.

One could never be too careful.

Only after, I was satisfied. I laid down on the bed; a minute later, I was in deep sleep.
