Ru Shi woke up, only to find herself lying on a hospital bed. She tried to sit up. The nurse who was helping her adjust the flow of the drip held her shoulders to stop her from sitting up. "Miss Ru, you can't get up now. You have to rest".Ru Shi looked around. "How can I be here?" Ru Shi asked the nurse."You fainted outside the operating room."Ru Shi frowned and vaguely remembered that she had been waiting outside the operating room, and she gradually lost consciousness."What about Li Mu Chang?"

"Mr. Li's operation was very smooth. But he needs to rest in a sterile room for a while because of his back burns.Ru Shi breathed a sigh of relief. "Okay. Thanks". When the nurse left, Ru Shi quietly took off the needle and walked outside. She passed through the hallway and walked towards the sterile room. Through the glass, she could see Mu Chang sleeping on the bed. Because it was his back that was burnt he was lying on his stomach.

The oxygen and the electrocardiograph were connected on the side showing his vital signs.Ru Shi looked at Mu Chang. From the way he was sleeping, she could see his face. His eyes were closed as he slept.

Several nurses walked past her and Ru Shi heard them whisper. "I didn't expect Mr. Li to be so affectionate. I didn't believe when they said he publicly asked her to be his girlfriend but now I really believe it! I mean I heard he rushed into the fire when he heard his girlfriend was in the fire. The firemen couldn't stop him."

"Really? Do people not say that the CEO is very cold and ruthless? I didn't expect to see this side of him."

"Of course, he really likes his girlfriends. Have you forgotten how he treated his ex-fiancé?"

Ru Shi looked at Mu Chang for a long time. She did not know how long she stood there until she heard someone behind her."Miss Ru."Li Yi called her.Ru Shi looked at his reflection in the glass. Li Yi looked at Mu Chang who was sleeping and sighed."Miss Ru, someone wants to see you."Ru Shi sorted out her feelings and turned to look at Li Yi. She saw a person behind Li Yi. She saw it was the man from earlier.

"Miss Ru, " Ru Shi raised her brows."I was wondering if we could talk alone." Ru Shi looked at Li Yi. Li Yi nodded slightly as he went to stand at a place where he could see them. He finds that man a little suspicious though. "What do you want to say?" Ru Shi asked him.

The man bowed slightly to her. "I'm sorry about what I said earlier. It's the only solution I could think of at that moment. Also, I lied; I'm not a friend of Mr. Li." Ru Shi frowned. "Boss heard about what happened at the café so he was very worried about you."

"Boss?"Ru Shi raised her eyebrows.
