Mr. He’s Daily Affections

"Sure enough, you took it away." Pei Yuanchen snorted coldly, "Then you just take it away."

"Yeah." Zi Yi was surprised. "Uncle Xiaobao, don't you want this cross?"

"Well, no." He said quietly.

"That's what you gave me. This is the first gift you gave me." She said happily.

After Pei Yuanchen's throat knotted, he said lightly: "No. It's just a cross, what's worth rarity."

"Humph..." she grumbled dissatisfiedly, "Uncle Xiaobao, will you come and send me to school tomorrow?"

Pei Yuanchen looked at the ceiling, his face dull and unclear.

"No. I have something to do. I have to leave Yanzhou for a while." After a long pause, he spit out this sentence hoarsely.

The woman over the phone was silent.

Her breathing gradually became rapid.

After a while, she spoke carefully: "You... you will come back, right?"

Pei Yuanchen didn't expect her to react like this.

His heart softened and he smiled dumbly: "Well, I will come back."

Ziyi sounded like a big relief: "That's great, Uncle Xiaobao, I will definitely wait for you."

Pei Yuanchen suddenly felt breathless.

He knew that he should tell her clearly not to wait for him.

He cannot be with her, nor can he marry her.

But he couldn't say it anyway.

Ziyi didn't get a response from him for a while, and said very thoughtfully: "Uncle Xiaobao, I'm going to sleep. You have to rest early."

"Well," the man said hoarsely, "Good night."

After finishing speaking, he hung up the phone.

The woman no longer required him to accompany her as she did before, but was a little more cautious, as if fearing he would be angry.

However, it was this part of caution that made him more difficult to give up.

Pei Yuanchen laughed at himself and squeezed his phone.

After a while, he suddenly got up from the ground, quickly packed his luggage, and checked out.

Three days later, the old house of He family.

Zi Yi stayed in his room and took Xiao Bao to read a story book.

Xiaobao has known many words during this time and is full of enthusiasm for reading. But Ziyi has some interests.

"Auntie, what is this word?" Xiao Bao suddenly dragged her sleeve and pointed to a word on the page to ask her.

Zi Yi then recovered, glanced at him and said, "This word is together."

"What about this?" Xiao Bao pointed at another word.

Ziyi glanced at him and took out a dictionary from the table: "Well, check it yourself."

Xiaobao flattened her mouth unhappy: "Aunt, you have changed, you don't like to play with me anymore."

Zi Yi snorted and poked his cheek: "If you answer me a question, I will play with you."

"What?" Xiao Bao looked up curiously.

"How do you usually contact your uncle?" Zi Yi asked.

Xiao Bao scratched his head: "Not much to contact. Uncle is very busy. I often don't see his figure for many days. I always wait for my uncle to come to see me. And uncle doesn't like to call or answer the phone."

Ziyi was a little discouraged.

For three days, she couldn't reach Pei Yuanchen, and she didn't know where he went.

Even if he has something to do, he should call her occasionally. Doesn’t he know he’s worried?

"Aunt, do you want to marry my uncle?" Xiao Bao said suddenly.
