Ziyi was in a trance again.

However, her struggle stopped unconsciously.

Pei Yuanchen looked into her eyes, his voice lazy and smiled: "Do you want to get engaged to me?"

Zi Yi opened his eyes wide and looked at him incredulously.

"You... what are you talking about?" she stuttered.

"Jin Baiyan is gone, but today is your engagement ceremony." He explained seriously, "Guests are coming soon, can't you temporarily cancel it? So, you need a fiance. Your family wants me to help you."

Zi Yi bit her lip tightly and looked at him straight, her dark eyes were brightened by tears, like black glaze.

The man's throat rolled and his eyes dimmed.

"He Ziyi, do you think it's okay?" he said lowly.

"You release me first." Zi Yi said softly.

The man bowed his head and kissed her on the cheek, causing her to shudder.

He smirked and let go of her hands, but his big, burning palm covered her waist.

Zi Yi bit his lip and raised his hand against his chest: "You are not allowed to kiss me!"

"But I want to kiss you." He raised an eyebrow and smiled a little rogue.

Zi Yi blushed.

She took a deep breath and spoke for a long time: "Ludwig, what do you mean?"

Pei Yuanchen laughed.

"I'm not Ludwig." He explained, "You should see that Ludwig is dead."

"So..." Zi Yi hesitated before speaking low, "Are you back?"

The man's throat rolled continuously for several times.

"Well." He murmured. "Sorry, I'm late."

Ziyi's hands tightened slowly, crumpling his neat collar.

A strange red rose on her cheeks, but her face was stiff.

"I don't want it." She said hoarsely, "Pei Yuanchen, I hate to die you."

"He Ziyi, you proposed to me at first." He raised an eyebrow. "Do you still want to marry someone? There are no doors!"

Ziyi said hardly: "But you also said, if you haven't come back in three months, you will die."

"Really? So you can't wait to get engaged to someone?" His eyes dimmed, and he was a little indescribable anger and dumbness.

"Yes!" Zi Yi looked at him reluctantly, his eyes full of stubbornness.

Pei Yuanchen secretly cursed.
