Ayano looked at Shun and said, “I think that envelope contained a test result.”

Shun: “Test result…? You mean DNA test?”

Ayano: “Reiko-san can do the test herself, right? Isn’t her work related to something in that field?”

Shun: “So what you are saying is she know that Hisami and Onoda were having an affair since years ago. She suspected that she might be Onoda’s daughter so she took a test? There were two envelopes. One for her and one for Manabu-san?”

Ayano thought for a while before saying, “No, I don’t think so. If what you are saying is right, then I don’t think it can cause any trouble. It doesn’t matter whether Manabu-san and Reiko-san are Onoda-san’s or not. As far as Onoda-san is concerned, either answer should be within expectation.
