Aradia looked at the unconscious girl who floated in the air with a kind sad smile, her eyes filled with a hint of proudness and happiness, she felt honored. She knew who Riley was, but she couldn't tell anyone, she had promised the Moon Goddess, Riley had to find everything herself to discover who she was, her background, strengthen herself, but first, she needed to be with her mate. Her mate was what triggered this in the first place, and her mate was the one to protect and help her. It was too dangerous for her to find out now. They will try to kill her as soon as she finds out and gets hold of her powers since she'd be the weakest then.

She closed her eyes murmuring a spell and opened them again after a while. They shined golden, the murmurs never stopping, she brought her hands up in the air and a small ball of orange and golden formed flowing in the air. She blew lightly on the ball and the ball submerged into Riley's head.

She sighed in relief and murmured a quick spell before snapped her fingers, and in the blink of an eye, they were no longer in the backyard of their restaurant but in Riley's room.

She opened her eyes up, laying Riley down on her bed with the motion of her finger. She looked around and put her hand out, with her palm facing the ceiling, fiery red and blue most flew from her hands, spreading around her room, setting itself all over her things and all around the room, before escaping the room and spreading towards the entire apartment as well.

She waved her hand around, the air swirling with the motion forming an amulet. She hooked the amulet around her wrist, ċȧrėssing Riley's forehead.

The door to Riley's room slammed open, as a heavy-breathing Hunter barged inside. He looked around with a crazed expression and his entire demeanor relaxed as he caught sight of Riley peacefully sleeping on the bed and a letter on the floor.

'Tell her truth soon, he is out to get her, his search has almost reached the end, the moon Goddess has given you the responsibility to help her and keep her safe, she has to be with you and in the realm before the dull moon approaches, meanwhile this amulet will keep her safe'

He released a deep breath upon reading the letter. The dull moon was in nearly less than five months. The night where all the evils were at their strongest and released from their cages to feast and 'he' stepped out from his cave himself for their 'search'.

He clenched his jaw and tightened his fists, he didn't know anything about their search, what the fuċk was their purpose? What the fuċk was their search?

Hunter knew she wasn't human but why would Aradia ask him to keep Riley safe from 'him'.

Whatever it was, he needed to act fast. His gaze fell on Riley's sleeping form as she let out a cute whɨnė flapping her hand around and tucking her blanket up all to her chin. He let out a breathy laugh before sitting down on her bed cupping her soft cheek in his large rough palm. All the worry and tightness instantly replaced with calmness and serenity as he stared lovingly at his beloved mate.

He chuckled as she frowned in her sleep and smacked his hand away from her face and twisted her lips. He ran his fingers through her smooth brunette hair, a soft peaceful smile etched on his face, his wolf felt peaceful and his heart fluttered in happiness as her lips twitched upwards in a small smile.

'I hate you', his wolf scowled at him making him roll his eyes.

'Soon', he shut his wolf up with one word making him screech in anger.

'Fuck yo self, you are gonna die alone and be miserable forever', Axel brooded and Hunter shook his head at his childish antics.

'I hope you still die somehow, and I get to keep our mate all to myself'

He blocked his wolf out salvaging the peace and happiness for a moment longer before the shit hits the fan.

I whɨnėd rolling on my bed, my body refusing to wake up and I angrily frowned at the sunlight that fuċkɨnġ shined directly on my face bright, waking me up from my beauty sleep.

Groans and whɨnės escaped my mouth as I stretched my limbs like a cat, mȯȧning in relief when the strain left and my body relaxed.

I looked at my pillow and warm covers longingly and picked up my phone to check the time. It was 7:15, and we leave for the restaurant by 8:30, it takes me like 20 minutes to get ready and 10 minutes to eat, yeah, I can sleep for some more time.

Happily crawling back into my covers, I closed my eyes with a smile when I was interrupted by a cough. My eyes widen and I froze at the sudden intrusion. FUCK! Is it Hunter? Fuck, did he saw me making those inhumane noises? Ugh!

Peeking from my covers, I saw standing at the entrance of my door, holding a tray of what looked like breakfast. Awh, is that for me? I told you he is the perfect housewife.

"Good Mornin' Peaches", He greeted me with a charming smile, and I gave him a sheepish one back, tucking my blanket just under my chin. Halfway through the night, I had pulled my shirt off and no way am I letting him see me in my ugly snow-white bra. What? Don't judge me, it was on sale.

"My head? Of course, it's fine, what happened to it?", I raised my brows fighting the urge to pull the other one that raised on its own down with my finger.

He frowned, " You don't remember? You slipped and hit your head on the counter and fainted for the entire night", Ooooh, I have always wanted to faint in my life.

That would explain the slight headache and the fuzziness and dizziness in my brain.

I shrugged, sipping my milkshake, and craned my head up to look at Hunter who now sat down at my nightstand. He gazed me intently before wiping my upper lip stained with the milkshake with a napkin.

My heart fluttered and my spine shivered. I twisted my lips and jerked my head a little for my hair to hide my flushed face from Hunter's view.

My gaze fell onto my wrist, and I gasped at the extremely stunning and delicate bracelet. I touched the tiny beautiful flowers and the little gemstones, this was fuċkɨnġ beautiful.

"Yeah, I got this as a present for you for being...uh...such an awesome friend...and everything", Hunter said in a low voice, rubbing the back of his neck, his eyes slightly nervous, my heartbeat violently, and I gave him a grateful smile.

" Thank you, this is very gorgeous", I flashed him a wide grin, before turning back to admiring the bracelet.

Yeah, never taking this off.

I apologize for such a long update, I had some college ȧssignments to take care of..
