Yi Qianya did not return home when she left the Ning’s residence. She drove her car to her brother’s company. Then, she got down from the car and went into the building gracefully.

She reached the CEO’s office on the top floor. The secretary wanted to announce her arrival but Yi Qianya stopped her.

“There’s no need for that. I’ll go in on my own.”

The secretary nodded her head and returned to her seat.

Yi Qianya took off her sunglasses and twirled it in her hand. Then, she entered the office by taking big strides. 

She did not knock on the door but pushed it open and entered the office swiftly. She soon saw the man who was working diligently and seriously at his desk.

Yi Qianya chuckled lightly then walked toward the man gracefully.

Upon hearing her footsteps, Yi Beichen looked up and frowned slightly when he saw who it was.

“Qianya, don’t you know how to knock on the door when you enter?”

Yi Qianya shrugged. “Brother, when have I ever knocked when I enter your office?”

Yi Beichen was speechless.

Yi Qianya still played with her sunglasses. She smiled softly when she realized that her elder brother’s facial expression had changed. “Brother, I came today because I want to tell you good news.”

Yi Beichen made no reply and ignored her.

Yi Qianya sighed softly. “Oh, what if I tell you that Youyou is back? Would you still not respond?”

“What?”

Surely, the man who had appeared cold earlier had a different facial expression now when he heard what she had said.

Yi Qianya was amused to see the serious man turn surprised and nervous upon receiving her news. Her elder brother’s facial expression would become funny whenever she brought up Youyou in front of him.

Yi Beichen regained his senses when he saw Yi Qianya laughing at him. He lowered his voice and said, “Did you say that… Youyou is back?”

“Yes.”

“Is it true?”

“Brother, could you please not look at me like that? I’m your younger sister. When have I ever lied to you?”

After receiving her confirmation, Yi Beichen lowered his head and started reminiscing about the past. His smile deepened when he remembered the little girl who had always followed behind her and did not want to give in to losing.

Yi Qianya sighed softly when she saw her brother’s reaction. “Brother, let me tell you. We haven’t met her for so many years now and she’s become so beautiful and captivating. You’ll surely be dazzled by her when you meet her next time!”

“Youyou was born beautiful. As she’s left us for four years now, I’ve definitely missed her.”

Yi Qianya laughed when she saw how her brother admired Ning Youyou. “I asked her to have a meal with me someday. Would you like to go with me?”

Yi Beichen did not respond.

Yi Qianya shrugged when she saw her brother having a secret moment of happiness. She knew that her brother truly adored Youyou. They were still young before. Now that they’ve grown up, everything was different now. It would be nice if Youyou could be together with her brother.

“Come in.”
