Hyunsuk elaborated to the other members, “Myunghee will be returning to Korea tomorrow night.”

“Is she going to barge in here again?”

“Possibly.”

“Should we call the police?”

“The police aren’t our personal bodyguards, we can’t use them.”

“Then what should we do? She is crazy! At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if she sets this place on fire.”

“We need to move.”

“Huh?”

“I will tell Manager Goh right now. We will stay here only until tomorrow, then we will move somewhere else.”

“Then why don’t we use our secret practice room?”

“Myunghee knows that place. It’s where we get our outfits, remember? She has been there a few times. She might go there to find us.”

Suddenly, Hyojun exclaimed, “Oh…!”

“What? Hyojun, do you have a place in mind?”

“Well, yeah, but Hyoyoung is going to hate this.”

“Where?”

“The basement in… our home.”

“What? Your house has a basement?”

“Yes, but that’s Hyoyoung’s space…”

“Hyoyoung likes to paint as a hobby and she wanted a place to work on her projects. So our dad remodeled the basement into her workshop. I mean, she hasn’t used that space for a few months now because she is preparing for the SAT… and there is a big mirror there too…”

“Wow, that’s perfect! Let’s go there. That way, we don’t even have to leave the house at all.”

“But we need permission from her. That basement has been her private space since she was a child. I think she’s hidden a lot of her personal stuff down there… Even my parents aren’t allowed in there. She has been the only one using that space for the last five years now. If anyone tries to go down there, she loses it.”

“Well, but our situation is dire… I think that might be our only option. Why don’t you ask Hyoyoung?”

“Phew… I hope she doesn’t kill me…”

Hyojun sighed and took out his phone. Hesitantly, he texted Hyoyoung.

-Let us use your basement.

In less than 10 seconds, his phone started to ring. It was Hyoyoung.

“H-hello….”

“Are you insane?!”

She screamed so loudly that Hyojun flinched and covered his ears. He replied, “Hey! You almost made me deaf! Why are you screaming so loudly?”

“You have complicated my life so much already, yet you are now demanding to take over my castle too?”

Hyojun slowly put the phone down on the table and switched the call to speaker mode. Her furious voice rang inside the practice room.

“Are you crazy?! Who do you think you are?! That’s MY castle! You have no right!”

“It’s just that… we have a situation here…”

“What situation?! There is always a situation, isn’t there? How is that you guys come up with so many different situations every five minutes?”

“It’s not like that…”

“GOSH! You are so annoying! Just spit it out!”

“If you keep yelling at me like that… I… I can’t talk…”

“Oh, come on! When have you ever had difficulty talking? You said that you all are going to the agency to practice and won’t be back for a few days! You even left me a note! Yet it’s only been a day and you are telling me you need to invade my space? My castle!!! How could you?! What is going on?”

“Hyoyoung…”

“… Kiwook Oppa?”

“Hey, Hyoyoung.”

“… Jiwoo… Oppa?”

“And this is Hyunsuk. Just in case you still haven’t realized it you are on speaker, Hyoyoung. We are in the practice room at the agency and we heard all the yelling at Hyojun just now.”

“GYAAAAA! I hate you all!”

Hyoyoung screamed and hung up. The four guys were left silent in shock.

Jiwoo said to Hyojun, “Hey, Hyoyoung should’ve gone into opera.”

Kiwook agreed, “Yeah, I know, right? What a voice. What lungs.”

Hyojun frowned and replied, “Just shut up. You all heard it, right? That is her castle. A castle where no one is allowed.”

Kiwook grinned and announced, “But if it’s a castle… it just needs a prince.”

“Oh, stop it, Kiwook Noh. Just how do you come up with such corny and stupid comments? First of all, you are no prince. Secondly, that castle isn’t like the ones in fairy tales. It’s a battle castle. Man… I have to agree, that basement is perfect for us. Hyoyoung used to sing really loudly, so our parents made it soundproof. You can’t hear anything from down there. I can’t believe how angry she is about this though,” Hyojun murmured weakly when suddenly, his phone rang again.

It was Hyoyoung.

“Oh. Hey Hyoyoung.”

“When do you need to use it?”

“Huh? I mean, the sooner the better…”
