My Days Stuck With You

*BANGS THE WALL*

"Xiaoru! Don't have classes today?!"

I woke up from my Mum's loud voice and banging of the wall. Our house is made out of wood, so when she wakes my up instead of knocking at the door, she bangs the wall. Isn't that weird?

Staring at the clock I blinked few times and saw it was already 8am. Shoot. I'm late.

"Mum! Why didnt you wake me earlier I'm late" I say as I dressed myself.

"Hey Xiaoru that's your responsibility you shouldn't be blaming others when it's your fault!" She replied with firmness.

"Still you need to wake me up." Arguing back at her while tying my shoe.

"You're always talking back, you back when we're young our parents didn't even bother to care if we're late."

"Mum, your generation and mine is different Mum stop comparing!" I raised my voice.

"You insolent child you dare to talk to me like that?"

"You're always angry maybe that's the reason, why Dad left you." then walked away from her.

"Come back here you ungrateful child! If you won't then go pick all of your things outside." i heard her voice trembling with anger but I still continued to walk away from her.

Yes my Mum and I are always arguing. I know shouldn't be talking back, it's too impolite and unacceptable. It's just that I hating losing in an arguement.

When I arrived in class my mood is already ruined, Jie Cai the class representative went in front of my table.

"Ye Xiaoru, we need the class project to be submitted by friday!"

"Why. Can't you do it yourself?"

"Hey we're assigned to do this."

"What's wrong with you? Acting high and mighty if you don't want to do it then, you're name will be excluded from our list."

I looked up to her and said "Well, if had done it, it should be credited to me alone.

She smirked "You're so conceited today, you even manage to talk back. We'll see in Friday, if you're still arrogant."

I was planning to retort again but heard a masculine voice coming from behind of her "Get out of the way"

"Hey where are your manner?" She turned to face the owner of that masculine voice, shocked it is Lu Tingxiao.

She turned away and got back to her seat. Afraid to fight back because she didn't want anger Lion, otherwise she'd be the one to suffer.

I know he didn't helped on purpose but I'm greatful because I never want talking to leeches like her. So I turned around, he sat on his seat and gave him a smile. We looked at each others eye for a second and he immediately looked away. I didn't even bother to think he likes me, coz he only happened to save my twice, I mean once which is today.

Note to self:

Never assumed unless otherwise stated. And I had already accepted yesterday that no guys would like me so why even bother.

As I went closer to the bathroom, I heard a female voices bickering, and mentioned my name. I didn't her them clearly my hear race so I rushed inside, they give me a ridiculed look which made me nervous. The students passed through me and left the bathroom.

I cleaned the bathroom since it didn't reek it was bearable, as I walked home I remembered him again, we didn't bumbed into each other after class. I started to feel that maybe I fell for him.

Gosh this isn't what I should be thinking.

I had arrived at home again but I didn't see Mum. I looked all over the house and hadn't feel her presence. I waited for her until 9pm she's still wasn't home then I started to tremble and remembered we had a fight this morning. Did she left me? Is she caught up in an accident? All those negative things running across my mind. Anxiety was crawling all over me, then tears starts to roll.

I started praying to God that she's okay and for her to come back home. An hour has passed she's still hasn't come back. I bawled in tears and yelling her name "Mum come back home I'm sorry I didn't mean it. Please... God I'll be a good daughter from now on."

But then I heard Mum's voice and I stopped all my dramas, she said "What the hell is happening to you. You think I'm dead?" I shaked my head and immediately hugged her, I held on her clothes and bawled again like a baby covering her clothes with not and tears, I utter words to her while having a hiccup from crying, "M-Mum don't leave like that again, I'm sorry for what happened this morning." My words aren't clear so she just patted my head and lulled me "Shhh... it's okay Mummy will never leave you."

She wiped down my tears and snot then asked me if I already ate the food she prepared and I replied what food? I didn't see she left me some food at the refrigerator. She took them out and reheat it in the stove, we ate together.
