My Female Prince

Opening the door, Yun Long and Yue Qi made their way down, shutting the door as well.

They could hear the groaning and cries of a woman and heard the cries of a child. What was going on down there? Didn't Yue Qi say that a maid was taking his child into the palace?

Seeing Xiao Jun, Yun Long's heart stopped and he called out to her. "Xiao Jun!"

At the sound of her name being called, Xiao Jun turned to look over and she smiled a bit before her face contorted in pain once again and she pushed, soon hearing another cry from the second baby.

The midwife's face broke into a smile, "A healthy baby girl! Congratulations Madam Feng for birthing a phoenix and dragon pair!"

Smiling tiredly, Xiao Jun's eyes closed and her head dropped, making Yue go into a slight panic as she held her Madam. "M-Madam Feng!"

Yun Long ran over and held her after Yue handed her to him and she took a wet cloth, wiping the sweat off Xiao Jun's forehead before leaving to go to the other room.

"It is a good thing that the Madam isn't bleeding as profusely like earlier." the midwife said, she disregarded the fact that Yun Long was there and cleaned Xiao Jun up.

Zhang Wei and Wang Wei only came over after Xiao Jun had been cleaned up properly and was being held in Yun Long's embrace.

"What happened?" Yun Long asked, he brushed the hair out of Xiao Jun's face and let Mei'er drape a cloak around her.

"A maid from the palace managed to get in and caused Xiao Jun to give birth prematurely. Xiao Jun told me to take her children back to Suo with us..." Zhang Wei said, he sighed.

"Children? There's more than one? Where is the other child? Did they take my other child?" Yun Long asked, he looked around and just saw his daughter. "Don't worry, he is being washed in the other room over there by Yue." Wang Wei said, he motioned towards the room and Yue walked out with the baby boy bundled up.

Glancing up, a couple tears ran down Yun Long's cheek as he kissed Xiao Jun's forehead.

"We must leave as carefully as we can. Please..take my son and daughter with you to Suo." Yun Long said, he had a serious face on as he looked up.

Zhang Wei nodded and then asked, "What about the names?"

Hesitating to answer, Yun Long looked down at Xiao Jun. He didn't want to just name them by himself, he wanted Xiao Jun to have a say as well.

"Ah! Big Sister said she was unsure about the gender of the child so she wrote down two names. Here." Mei'er took out a piece of paper from inside her sleeve and handed it to Yun Long.

He read the paper and a small smile broke out on his face. "Yifeng and Liying..... Alright! My son will be Yifeng and my daughter will be Liying."

Even though outside was chaotic, the people in the underground room were peacefully conversing.

In the palace, the Crown Prince smirked and laughed as he saw the manor of General Huo go up in flames.


"General Huo~ you should be careful when you try to overthrow a prince." the Crown Prince laughed. He had been told that Yun Long had been eyeing his throne and had plans of taking over, wanting to be the emperor of Han.

Who had told him? It was his most trusted advisor of course!

His father was furious but what could a sick man do?

In the early hours of the day, Wang Wei and Zhang Wei slipped out with the now asleep babies in their arms along with Yue, whom came along to help care for the newborns on the trip to Suo.

Yun Long dressed Xiao Jun in new robes from clothing that was stored down below and tied a cape around her before picking her up and climbing out. They left after the two brothers did and he made his way to the now burnt down Huo Manor, the Manor of his parents.

He shut his eyes and mourned quietly as tears fell. Xiao Jun, who was now awake, brought her hand up to caress Yun Long's face.

"Long'er..." she spoke softly, catching his attention. He looked down at her and gave a sad smile.

"Once you're better. Let us get our revenge. The Crown Prince will pay, whether he be royalty or not." Yun Long said, Xiao Jun nodded and then let out a little chuckle, "Did you also forget who was royalty here? He's not the only one with imperial authority."

Yun Long smiled and kissed her forehead, "Of course I didn't forget."

"General, Madam, there's a carriage in the woods behind the shed. Let's go." Yue said, appearing with Mei'er.

Yun Long nodded and stood up, carefully walking over to the carriage and setting her inside, moving to let Mei'er inside, before climbing up on his horse.

"Let's go. Han will no longer be our home." Yun Long said, his gaze cold and disregarding for the Han Kingdom.
