ALLEN POV

Half of them were asleep, while some were playing and only one boy Callen was listening to my story.

He asked 'what would the wolfy do if the little red riding hood never noticed him'

'wolfy would still follow little red ridding hood even if she didn't love him because wolfy was only living for her, it wouldn't make sense to live in a world where you have nothing you love….' Damm I realized it was too philosophical for a kid.

But he said ' do you think the little red riding hood will love the wolfy knowing that he would eat her'

' yes, she would because she trusted him with all her life, she knew that he wouldn't do anything to scare her away, and he would wait for her patiently till she loved him wholeheartedly'. I said covering blankets over the children.

' teacher do you have someone you love' he asked innocently, damn where do these kids get their irresistible cuteness.

'let me think.....what do you guess' I said teasingly

' you are beautiful so I guess you would be having 1 or 2 boyfriends' he said pouting.

'come on Callen, I believe in one person for life concept, so I'm waiting for my destined one' I said brushing his hair ' now go to sleep, your parents will come and pick you up after you rest' a minute was all it took for him to go sleeping.

I later arranged all the play items that were on the ground. There was still an hour before the school closed and all the cutie pies were sleeping. I was tired and so I slept next to them.

After some time,

I was pulled out from my sleep when Karin started pulling my hair. I woke up in an instant, looked at my watch. Thank god there was only 10 mins left for the parents to start coming. I found a blanket over me. Was someone here or did the kids do this?. I clenched on the blanket because I could feel a certain warmth coming out of it.

The kindergarten bell rang and I could see all the cutie pies faces lit up knowing that they could see their parents soon. I sent all of them except for Callen, he was still waiting for his parents.

I thought of calling them up when Blake entered, 'I would be picking up Callen' he said, his eyes were something I would always get drawn too.

'Callen come here….your ….ummm dad has come' he was jumping around when he saw Blake. I still couldn't understand their relationship. 'he's my godson' Blake answered as if he read my mind.

'dad I want to go to an ice cream shop' he said giving the puppy look. Blake was flustered, it was nice seeing a grown man getting flustered about it.

' why don't you ask your teacher to join us' he said giving me the puppy eyes and Callen was excited about the idea.

'I'm good, you guys should go, my brother will be here any minute' I said. Both of them looked so disheartened that I felt bad for turning them down.

'how about tomorrow, after classes get over. I will ask my brother and let you know' I said. Just like the puppies, I could see both of them wagging their tail, with sparkling eyes.

'can I have your number' Blake asked.

' I'm sorry, I don't have a mobile phone, hmm…you can call our home telephone though' I sad giving him the number.

'Bye Callen, Bye sir' I said waving at them. I could feel the sorrow in Blake's eyes, but I wasn't so close to him to question what was wrong.
