My Mage System



As Alan was preparing his new spell, Nolan, who had received Ian's agreement to try to capture his energy so that he could learn to condense the energy of the Evil Divine element, set to work straight away.

And since Nolan needed Ian to use a lot of black particles in order to make this work, Ian decided to make black flames appear all over the right side of his body, which was the side of his body reserved for the use of the Evil Divine element.

Nolan then had no problem connecting to Ian's energy and as Liam and Ian continued to fight being careful to protect him because since it was the first time Nolan used his ability on this divine energy, he couldn't concentrate on anything else.

When he finally felt after only a few minutes that he was able to capture and condense Ian's energy above his hand, the same way he did when he was training with Axel or Raven, he warned them immediately and when his ball, which was the size of a marble, was stabilized, Ian took it from him and sent it straight to the two Knights of Darkness who were closest to them.

To his amazement, this tiny ball of energy blew up the two Knights of Darkness just like that, but that was not all, he had to create a shield made of golden particles to counter and stop the advance of the shockwave of this explosion with Liam's help, which was filled with black particles.

Kevin who was fighting near them also had to create a shield with golden particles to protect Erik, and as for Phil and Blaise, they also had to stop their fights, as well as their opponents, to protect themselves from this deadly shockwave.

Ian, who had never seen Nolan use one of these kind of attacks before, looked at him completely dumbfounded.

How could this tiny ball of energy do so much damage, it was unimaginable, and suddenly Miguel appeared beside them and he asked them sincerely concerned: "Are you all okay? Do you want me to get Atlas or Jordan to check if there are black particles in your body?"

But lan put his left hand on his shoulder, which still had the golden flames running down that side of his body, and he told him: "We're fine, don't worry, we were just surprised by the power of this attack.

Luckily, the shockwave was stopped before being able to spread too far, and Kevin, Erik, Phil and Blaise were the only ones hit by it."

Liam quickly added: "Kevin had no trouble stopping it on his side and Phil and Blaise, thanks to it, took the opportunity to recharge their supply of black particles."

Nolan seeing the face Miguel was making then said: "I guess, I'm not allowed to try again... Is that it?"

Miguel then turned his head towards him and his eyes for a moment turned multi-colored.

Miguel then raised his hand and he threw golden lightning towards 2 Knights of Darkness, without even looking at them, which killed them instantly. 

These Knights of Darkness had thought that since they were talking to each other they had become easy targets, but how could they ever become easy targets when Miguel was around.

Nolan swallowed hard, because even though he knew Miguel wouldn't hurt him, no one could blame him for being afraid of him right now, and in the end, Nolan thought, Miguel was much more terrifying than Elias.

Miguel's eyes then returned to their usual blue colour and he said to Nolan: "Do you realize how bad it would have been if other people, like the Shapeshifters or the Demons for example, had had to face that shockwave… You could have killed them all with this attack."

Of course Nolan was perfectly aware of this, and that was why he had told Ian to throw it to the side where only those who could use a divine element to defend themselves would be.

Nolan when he saw that Miguel had calmed down couldn't help to say, because it was bothering him: "Master, I'm sorry, but I warned Ian to only use it in this direction so as not to put our friends who can't defend themselves against this kind of attack in danger.

We also warned Kevin, Phil and Blaise about it so that they were ready for the shockwave... But Master, I would like to know something…"

Miguel then sighed because Nolan and the others did well after all, they didn't just throw this ball of condensed Divine energy like that, they had made sure first that nobody on their side would get hurt so he couldn't blame them.

He motioned for Nolan to ask what was bothering him, and Nolan then said: "Is there a difference in power between the two Divine elements? Because this ball of condensed energy made from the Evil Divine element did much more damage than what an attack made from the Angelic Divine element would have done."

Miguel nodded and he explained to him: "You're right, it does take an average of 3 golden particles to destroy 1 black particle, and about this kind of attack, I'd actually prefer that you avoid doing it again… At least, don't use it without warning me first so that I can protect you from the shockwave, got it?"

Nolan nodded, and Miguel then asked him: "Just in case, how long does it take you to make one?"

Nolan then told him, because now that he had managed to make one the second one would be easier: "Right now, I still need at least 2 minutes to make one, and after a few days of practices I'll need only 30 seconds."

Miguel then patted him on the shoulder and he said to them just before he disappeared to watch another corner of the battlefield: "Alright, you three stay together, maybe we'll need one of those condensed energy balls later."
