The room was dim even during the day as heavy curtains were lowered so Claudia could sleep well. The only light source is one small lamp on the side table.

Isaac approaches the bedside without making a sound. Claudia was exhaled and asleep.

Is it painful, slightly frowning? Isaac remained silent and lowered his back to the bench beside him.

I was going to keep my eyes shut, but I saw a snug sweat seeping through Claudia's forehead, and Isaac was pulling the chief out of his chest pocket.

Isaac hurries up from his bench and tries to push Claudia back to bed.

"Isaac, what did you just say?

Isaac hips himself beside her to support Claudia.

Reducing the distance much longer, Claudia continued to stare at Isaac with an incredible glance.

"What did you say? Say it again."

Once again, Isaac told her slowly this time. Include all thoughts you've never been able to put into words.
