I apologize for the inconsistent updates over the past four or five days. The reason is that I got married on the 30th, and my maternal grandfather also fell ill, very seriously. I spent a day at the hospital looking after him, which basically caused the delay.

Otherwise, I, the author, wouldn't have stopped updating.

But rest assured, I will definitely manage to update 10,000 characters over five days in February. It's just that I arrived in Shenzhen by train yesterday morning, and I also have to go to work and take care of my young children, so I only managed two updates today.

Looking back at 2023, from an initial subscription of 250 to the current 2300+, and sometimes even managing to get on the monthly ticket chart, I am very satisfied, even a little dreamy.

This is also why I went from updating two chapters of 4,000 characters each at the beginning to two chapters of 8,000 characters each now.

Because in my opinion, there is no better way to show my sincerity than by updating more.

Of course, many people may say that there are many authors who update 10,000 characters a day, but I am only a part-time author. My job is not easy, and sometimes my boss is very fierce, so I sometimes need to sneakily write while at work. I also have twin baby boys at home. Although my mother-in-law and wife are helping, I still need to lend a hand.

So, consistently updating 8,000 characters a day is currently a rather strenuous limit for me.

If I could consistently update 10,000 characters a day, I definitely would.

No one would refuse money, and I am one of those who lack it the most.

Finally, to summarize, 2023 has been a lucky year for me.
