They also saw how he got wrapped up in the whole scheme of that Black Zetsu and couldn't help but feel somewhat sympathy for him...

They also saw Linley battling him out and harshly reprimand him which then their world collapsed when they saw him taking out his eyes and handed them to Linley...

Seeing everything so far they realised that they are in a truce of not hurting the people in the scroll Linley gave to him and had a 30 years pact...

However, this didn't mean he didn't have his ways with the clans and villages around which was the reason they picked up small trails...

This made them realise their plans... They want to use the upcoming war to warn everyone and spread the news about the enemy lurking in the shadows...

They both at the same time that with this, they can ensure their Clan survival, help the future generations and cleanse the corrupt elders...
