Never Forget Me

Su Jin Wei and Modesty continued to plot against her Uncle now that the Su's had taken care of the Zhuang. More of the Zhuang businesses began to topple as more and more investors pulled out and they received a lot of criticism.

"So, what more are you going to do against your uncle?"

Modesty shook her head.

"I'm not sure. First I want to find out if my aunt knew about everything. If she is innocent in all of this, I would like to spare her as much as possible, if not she can go down with my uncle. As for anything more I haven't thought past buying up the business branches. I have almost acquired all of them but because I give my uncle reports regularly about the large profits those investments make he is none the wiser about the other branches. I also have a person secretly buying up the minor shares in Cameron Corp, I also have the original twenty percent shares that my father gave my mother when they were married. So I will eventually be the majority shareholder instead of my uncle."

Su Jin Wei was impressed, Modesty had done a lot of scheming against her uncle, his wife was really black-bellied.

"I have a few ideas as well."

Su Jin Wei and Modesty talked from the early evening to late into the night. She was so glad that it was a weekend so she could sleep late. It seemed like when they came together either after work or on the weekends, they spent all of their time together talking and planning. To outsiders, they looked as if they were already a married couple.

The next morning they were sitting and eating breakfast.

"Modesty?"

She turned from her food to look at Su Jin Wei.

"Yes? What is it?"

Su Jin Wei sat for a minute trying to decide what he wanted to say. But he couldn't so he just blurted out the words.

"Marry me today."

Modesty had a shocked look on her face.

"We can't plan a wedding in half a day."

Sun Jin Wei chuckled she didn't say no.

"No, let's go to the civil affairs bureau today and get married, and then have a wedding later."

Modesty looked shocked, this was not how she imagined someone asking her for marriage would be.
