Isabelle groaned, as she woke up, tummy rumbling,
"Angel, as you say, I'm sort of hungry,"
The boy with black hair and eyes,
Looked at her, his gaze so wise,
He sighed and told us to wait till he arrives,
Or else...we'll all lose our lives.
I sat, anxious since his presence was gone,
While Mar gently smiled, as bright as the sun,
I noticed Stacy grunt, as she stood and went-
To the window, to which, her hair floats with the air.
Stacy looked sad, and I wonder just why,
Her brother is safe, in a blanket he lie,
But it seems something's wrong,
Her reaction's unfine.
I walked towards her, as I asked her the matter,
She flinched at what I asked, and I kind of wondered,
Why were her cheeks red? Was it me or just hunger?
She stuttered at her words,
Telling me that nothing's wrong,
I insisted however,
But her explanation's like a song.
She told me again and again,
She doesn't feel anything,
I apologized when I feel convinced enough,
Were her blue eyes always that sad?
I went back to my seat,
My eyes sometimes looking at her,
Mar laughed and asked me,
"Is it me? Or you like her?"
I blushed at the statement,
I didn't even know her,
She was not even close to me,
And why would Mar even bother?
"I don't like her, I'm just concerned,"
I told Mar, but she seemed as suspicious as before,
I bit my lip, and wondered deep,
Perhaps a woman's touch, is a natural human yearn.
I began to wipe it off my mind,
Why would I even think of that in this awful time?
I sighed, as Mar continued teasing,
I covered my ears, quite embarrassed they weren't stopping.
"I won't tell her, but you must admit,"
I rolled my eyes, my tongue didn't slip,
And just why, she suddenly look optimistic?
I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep again,
Just so I won't blush at her so often.
Mar eventually stopped, and just sat quietly beside me,
Finally some peace, although this place sure didn't have a plenty.
...
Stacy stole some glances, at Mar and Ken who seems like having fun,
She gritted her teeth, and wondered when they will be done,
Ken looks bashful, and she wondered just why he would do,
Was it embarrassment? Or was it Mar, that makes him so?
