divinity and nihility

weave the identity

of a new reality

a forest without life

the green turned pale

the tides clashing

with the tears of souls

condemned in the wrath

of their own creation

religion chaining their ideals

authority erasing their freedoms

a shadow over the sun

purpose is not equivalent to value

don't you see the crowned

drowning in their worth?

reality once in their hands

until their own insanity

chokes their emotions

under sobs and stars

sending them to spiral

with the meteors they brought

if i want to be free,

i cannot be shackled to my body

my soul to weigh me down.

i don't want to hunt

with the universe at my knees.

i want to end the hunt

for all worth to cease

and experience an eternal bliss

when my name is no longer

but an infinite constellation

holding the universe in place

immortality only found

when death is equal to life

and when reality meets its demise

i still float

in peace
