Nuptial Chamber Next Door

Part 2 of Chapter 15 is up. Do you agree with Bo Bing? That Ye Zhengchen still cares about her ? Or was he simply being a good Samaritan when he jumped to rescue her from the madman ? Chapter 16 – Passionate

In the blink of an eye, a month had passed I had thought that , without him, the days would be tough. In fact, the days felt the same but the long walk home had become longer and more tiring. It was the beginning of the semester and many students had left while many new ones had moved in In the flat right above Ye Zhengchen, a new girl moved in. She had sharp features, was elegant and beautiful . She always smiled when she talked, causing people to smile back at her

We met for the first time at midnight when I was just coming back from the convenience store. I met her in the elevator. She was carrying a laptop. Her black hair had been carelessly bundled up on top of her head and she wore jeans with a white t shirt. She looked really nice. She smiled at me , "Hello!"

Most of the girls in Korea and Japan don't like wearing jeans because they don't have beautiful long legs that make them look sexy in jeans.

I tentatively asked, " Are you Chinese ?"

She nodded. " My name is Ling Ling. I just moved in yesterday." " My name is Bo Bing. I live in 322. You ?" "421" She was right upstairs to Ye Zhengchen. I felt a faint worry for the cute girl. I wanted to warn her about the playboy downstairs, but kept quiet so as not to create unnecessary misunderstandings. Ling Ling was also pursuing her doctorate in engineering. She was going to be in Japan for almost a year and had applied for the hostel in Osaka.

Our characters were similar . So , not long after getting to know each other, I helped her with Ye Zhengchen's account and password for his Wi-Fi network. Anyway there was no need to help him save his money.

One rainy day. Ling ling and I went to see the Cherry blossoms. In the slight drizzle, the blossoms looked beautiful. Autumn had started not too long ago, and the mountains and plains were awash with the dazzling colours of fall. She looked at the scenery, and a lonesome tear dropped down her cheek. Maybe she was homesick. Quietly standing next to her, I remembered my own state last year. I saw Ye Zhengchen holding my hand, running over the bridge…

The clear memories of that period finally helped me realise one obvious fact.  As early as our trip to a Kyoto, Ye Zhengchen had already captured my heart. I had simply been too scared to admit it to myself.

"What are you thinking ?" I asked Ling Ling

She looked as if she was thinking of something faraway.

"I was thinking of a person. I was wondering if he is alright." "Boyfriend ?" " Yes. But we broke up."

Perhaps they had just broken up. I was particularly familiar with this feeling of helpless emotions but no regrets, I believed that the man must have made her feel a lot of pain , but she still had no regrets. I looked up at the sky, took a deep breath ans said, " Don't worry. This will soon pass." She smiled and wiped her tears.I took her hand and walked quickly to the end of the bridge, "Come on ,I will take you to see some stone inscriptions of our Prime minister’s speech." Miumiu596 – ling ling is the main protagonist of another book of this author. She is an engineering student who thinks her guide for her thesis is too harsh on her. Desperate to escape his clutches, she is finally guided by a friend to make a false love confession to the professor , thinking this would make him get rid of her. Of course, nothing happens as per plan.:)

This professor guy, Ye Zhengchen are all friends. If you remember Zhang Wei from chapter 10, even he has a book on him where he has been in love with an actress who dumps him, purportedly for the sake of her career. But all is not as it seems!

The fourth book is on another friend of theirs, who actually has a one night stand with a mute girl , only to have her disappear completely from his life after that. Years later, when he finally finds her, she's the girlfriend of his twin brother !  All four books are interesting, but Ye Zhengchen is by far my most favorite character.
