Ye Chengwei smiled. “There must be a lot of people who call you Ranran or Little Ran. I just want to call you An-an. It’s the name that belongs only to me.”

The gentle tone had a tinge of dominance, but it was likeable.

“Didn’t you become an adult yesterday? This is a special day that you only have once in your life. Shouldn’t you commemorate it?”

These words were too cringeworthy.

But it worked. An Ran quickly emptied her glass. It was quality red wine, but she furrowed her brows.

Ye Chengwei patted her face. “Oh my. Should I have Sister Rong help you sign up for a manners class?”

“So you like a cultured girl,” An Ran said, not agreeing.

Ye Chengwei moved close to her ears and murmured, “I like you.”

An Ran’s heart jumped up, but Ye Chengwei seemed to not know what his words had caused. His expression was unchanged.

An Ran, why are you panicking? He just said the word “like.” It’s not rare. Who knows how many girls he’d said that to already?
