One Piece: The Eldest Brother

After watching Grandpa and Luffy argue at "to be a marine or a pirate", we finally reached Fuschia and entered the bar lead by our Makino-nee-chan, a young woman with brown eyes and dark green hair that goes up to just above her shoulders. 

When she saw us Makino-nee-chan beamed a beautiful smile on her face while welcoming us two brothers with open arms as we both say " Hello Makino..."

"Edam, Luffy do you want a glass of orange juice ?" Makino asked with her ever-present and sweet smile as we sat down on the chairs just in front of the bar.

I reply "Yes please nee-chan." while Luffy responds " No, I want the drink Shanks order when he came here please..." he said with a big smile plastered on his head.

Makino-nee-chan had a surprised expression on her face as she then giggled with her hand on her mouth while I just looked at him. I swear that I could feel my eyebrow twitching involuntarily.

Seeing him smile like that while saying this line, I looked at him with a helpless look on my face.

I don't know if my little brother is doing this on purpose or what...

Sometimes I really wonder if we are really blood brothers.

I mean, did he already forgot that grandfather was right here or what?

Anyway, when grandpa heard the magic word "Shanks" he erupted like a volcano.

" Don't you dare pronounce the Akagami's name ( Red-head) in front of me, you unfilial grandson " he shouted while giving him his famous fist of love which became a sort of trauma for me through the years.

Even though I was a lot stronger than luffy or than my former seven years old self, Jii-chan's loving fist was still the most dreadfull weapon I had to experience till then, and Luffy my little brother was having this thing almost every ten minutes if not every five minutes.

Just thinking about it suffice to send shivers down my spine freezing me on the spot.

After grandpa gave Luffy his beating, someone entered the bar, it was grandpa Woop.

Seeing him Grandpa (Garp) called him " Oh Mayor".

Grandpa Woop then said "Oh Garp ?" then he looked at us and say. " So you two little brats were here with him already huh..."

And they started a long conversation that I didn't really understand and didn't really care about. It would surely be some politics matter and such so...

Makino-neechan then asked us what we did today and I told her our day or mostly Luffy's wrong doings.

Meanwhile a certain conversation was taking place not far from them.

While Edam&co were talking about their daytime, Garp and Woop Slap were discussing about some secrets that should never be allowed to be leaked out, ever.

"Haah...even ten years later, I still find it difficult to ȧssimilate what you told me." Woop Slap sigh and said.

"I know but it's the truth, as difficult as it seems to be." Garp whispered quietly with a serious expression on his face.

" Apart from his tail, he look exactly like any of our kind." said Woop Slap taking a quick glance at the Edam.

" But he's not..." said Garp while sighing before adding.

"I've gone to a famous scientist who work for the Marine and he told me that this boy constitution is really strange, it seems to evolve depending on the amount of difficulty it go through. Meaning that he will become stronger everytime he is close to death or is in difficulty."

"What !!!" " Then doesn't that mean that he has an unlimited potential ?" Woop shouted a little, earning the attention of everyone in the bar including Edam & co's attention who were happily chatting.

"Quiet down !" said Garp nervously.

"I know it's shocking and it was even more for me."

"This Vega punk guy told me that there are other stranges things that this boy's body will be able to do once he grow up that will surely shock the world later on." Garp said and spoke once again.

"And you still decided to adopted him?" Woop said in a doubtfull tone looking at Garp with a deadpan expression on his face.

"After what his mother told me... how could I possibly refuse it..." Garp said in a somewhat sad voice.

"Anyway it seems like you have another monster as a grandson huh...?" Hoop said recalling the face of a certain young man, a young man whom he had personnally guided but who would have thought that he would take the opposite path...sigh...

"Why are you saying that, How could you already know luffy will be a monster ?" Garp asked.

"Humph, The son of a monster like your son couldn't possibly be any less than him."

Hearing him saying this Garp kept quiet but a trace of pride could be seen in his eyes and a little grin seemed to appear on his face.

These little expression were unseen by the others but not from the mayor who muttered quietly "Baka ( idiot ) ..."

After that they continued to discuss a little before Garp took his two little grandsons and bade farewell to Makino and the mayor before taking their leave.

"Goodbye Makino neechan and you too grandpa Woop, see you later !!!" Shouted the two brothers happily.

"Goodbye, both of you" Makino replied while Woop replied "Goodbye you two brats, don't cause too much trouble and become good marines" he said that to which Luffy just made a grimace and said " Yadayooo( I don't want to) , I will be the pirate ki-..."

Pah...! He got a punch on the head before finishing it.
