Oops, I Ate A Zombie

In her deep slumber, all Nora could feel was the cold seeping in her bones. Too cold. Her own world was freezing. It became more and more unbearable. From slightly uncomfortable, the cold began to hurt her like frost burns. All of her limited perception became a torture. Every seconds was filled with this agony.

This horrible state lasted for a week in reality, but it was an eternity for her.

Little by little, the cold disappeared. She started to feel her toes. Her feet. Ankles. When her senses realised her whole body was intact, her conscience reacted. She remembered all her life and who she was. She attempted to open her eyelids. They were too heavy, like they were covered in glue. Impossible to move a finger. Her body was unmoving. She knew something was wrong. The panic creeped in. She couldn't scream. She tried to make her body obey. Again and again. She couldn't stay this way forever. The intense despair of being caged in her own body was intolerable. She had to open her eyes. She had to.

And she succeeded.

Tears of relief appeared in those newly opened eyes. She took a couple of minutes to adjust her emotions. She observed her environment. At first, she only saw the white ceiling. Then the white walls. She thought 'Am I in a hospital ? That's awkward, there isn't a window...'

Then she noticed something weird on the walls. There was strange red stains. Puzzled, she looked longer at those stains. 'Is it... blood ?!' Shocked, she started to move her body. Surprisingly, now that she has awoken, her limbs were light and she sat down in the bed easily. However, she didn't perceived the strangeness of her condition.

The she saw what was on the floor. Four bodies lying in a pool of blood. Shaking from head to toe, Nora shrinked herself towards the opposite side.

'It's not real, not real, not... Holy sh*t, it's completely real ! REAL ! What's going on ?!'

Panicked, she stood up quickly. 'There is a total psycho in the hospital ! Like in horror movies ! Oh my god, what if he comes back to kill me ? I don't even know basic self defense, I'm so doomed ! Clothes, I need clothes !' She searched everywhere in order to change from that hospital outfit.

A that moment she finally saw the man crouched in a corner. Covered in blood, he seemed to munch on something. Petrified, Nora stood there, her eyes wide open.

'What should I do now ?!'
