"There aren't any sorties today. So you can all have a day off."

"Finally. I thought we were going to go out again." (Suzuya)

Since I have already submitted all my reports, HQ approved of me giving those that participated in this mini operation a day off. Those that participated are the girls in the main fleet and Ryuujou's fleet.

"Aren't we missing someone?" (Ryuujou)

"Commander, where is Zuihou-san?" (Asashio)

"She... is not feeling well. I told her to rest in her room."

"I see." (Asashio)

"Well, that sucks. It's such a waste an off day like that." (Suzuya)

"Don't worry. I will let her keep it for later."

"As expected of Admiral. Such a kind person." (Suzuya)

Suzuya said that in a teasing tone.

"Yes. Admiral is a kind person." (Shigure)

"Alright alright. You girls are dismissed. Go out and have some fun."

As soon as the two fleets left, I went into my room to check on Zuihou. Technically, my room is also Zuihou's room now. So I didn't really lie about Zuihou being unwell.

Zuihou was lying on my bed. Before we started our night battle yesterday, both of us drank more of that weird Sake. Seriously, they weren't kidding about it's effects. I felt a boost of energy and my body heated up almost immediately. I lost count of how many we did it. It was already morning by the time the effects wore off. I got a slight headache from all that, which disappeared after a while, but Zuihou got it worse. She has been aching all over and couldn't move for the time being. Since we have nothing to do today, I planned to catch up on my sleep afterwards.

"Uggh~ It still hurts..." (Zuihou)

"Bear with it. It should wear off soon enough."

"Geez! How did you have to do it so many times?!" (Zuihou)

"I can't help it. You were acting so s.e.xy and cute. Besides, you started attacking me first."

"Dummy... Ouch! Ow! Stop it!" (Zuihou)

Zuihou screamed as I poked her thighs, which was below the blanket. Looks like she is still sensitive, in a way.

"You're so mean!" (Zuihou)

"Scoot over. I coming in."

"It hurts when I move. Oww! Be gentle!" (Zuihou)

It was already past lunch time when I woke up. That was a refreshing nap. I'm surprised no one came into my office for these few hours though. If it was a normal busy day, I would have been dragged out by Ooyodo or Zuihou or anyone with a strong sense of responsibility. Speaking of which,

"Zuihou, how are you feeling?"

"...mh..."

Still sleeping. Let's leave her like this for now.

I left my room and walked to my table. Before, there were a bunch of doc.u.ments and papers stacked up. Now, since I have submitted all of them this morning, it mostly empty except for some important ones. Ooyodo must have helped tidied up a bit. I don't remember putting the stationary back into their stands or the leftover doc.u.ments being neatly stacked.

I noticed a brightly coloured piece of paper on the middle of the desk. What's this about? A flyer for the Naval Setsubun Celebration?

Oh. It's time for that festival again.
