Our Journey

Today the weather isn't bright. Many clouds gather in the sky. This situation makes me worried that rain would come down. I have been waiting for this day. Today is a very important day for me because today is the day of last stage selection start. I hope the rain doesn't drop until this last stage ends. Because I am worried that the selection will be stopped if it rains.

In this last stage selection, all participant will show his martial arts abilities in combat tournament. The participants will fight each other in a single-elimination where the loser of each match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. Each winner will fight another in the next round, until the final match-up, whose winner becomes the tournament champion.

The outcome of this battle tournament is not the main factor of selection. The participnats who lose at the beginning of the fight tournament are not immediately eliminated from this Royal Academy Military Selection. They can still pass the selection if they get good points in the previous stage. But who is the winner will enter the royal elite forces after graduation from academy.

The selection officer has set the battle schedule. My turn to fight is this morning. If I can wins today, I will enter eighth-finals in next day. I have seen the fight schedule board, but don't know who is my opponent. The schedule board only mentions that my opponent is number one. I asked the selection officer about that, but he refuse to answer.

He said that I was fit againts number one. He also reminded me about the important rules of this tournament. The participants must not injure their opponent until their opponet get seriously injured. The person who does it will be eliminated from selection. Although not satisfied, I recieved the answer. I convinced myself that I could win.

"Liu Wei, what do you do? Don't daydream. Don't you hear that our Wangye (Prince in First Rank) will coming?" Zhang Shiyu said with low sounds. I nodded my head to answer him.

"Respect to our Wangye!" the selection officer talking loudly. All participant bow his head to honor the Prince.

" May Heaven give a long life to Our Wangye!" we said loudly. After that, we raise our head. That I didn't imagine happened. I am surprised. On the podium the prince stand. His face is familiar to me. There is no mistaking that he was the man I had defeated in Springs House. He is Xiaoying sweetheart.

"Heavens! He is our Wangye?" I asked Zhang Shiyu who stands beside me. I see his face and he nodded. His face was pale.

"In this tournament, our Wangye will test one of you. After disscusing with him, we choice Liu Wei become an opponent to our Wangye in first match. Liu Wei, prepare your self! After our Wangye give his speech, you will fight with him," the selection head officer said on podium loudly. I just nodded because my shock.
