The man with him, Assassin Kun, nodded. He, in fact, recognized Fan Bai.

"You have. He's in the guild of the Sacred Maiden's Saints. However, since we're from the dark abyss, we have nothing to worry about. Just make sure you don't kill him," Assassin Kun said, "Yet, it's a shame we're supposed to hurt such pretty women."

It was an assassin plot they were payed well for.

One of them was level 210, and the other was level 180. The first was a world sovereign while the second one was a quasi-world sovereign. Basically, the lower leveled assassin would go after Lie Wei Ying, and the higher ranked assassin would go after Fan Bai. As long as he distracted him, then the plan would go smoothly. He smiled as a fist gently stopped in front of his face.

Basically, this was a legendary potion called the [Sovereignty Panacea]. he was saving for when he needed it. Yet, right now, he didn't want the boy to have zero health.

When they were fighting, he had realized the situation. There were two powerful men hiding behind the bushes, and he found himself wanting to protect this boy. Luckily, he had a rare tracking device that picked up an assassin's stealth. If it wasn't for that, he would have left the boy at 2 health. Even with his insane defense, he still would've lost the second those men attacked. However, as they just battled, he gave him the potion to help him out. There was something about this boy's personality that really resonated with him. It was almost like he was a brother, and he had to give him good items.

"Drink that immediately," Fai Bai transmitted, "Unfortunately, we have company."
