Chapter 69 The light peeks through the testimonial hole of the launch

Chapter 69 Remarks on the launch - Peering into the hole

Save time: There will be an update with more than 10,000 words tomorrow, and it will be on the shelves at 12 noon!

Then as usual - if you are not in a hurry to leave, let's sit down and chat.

I think... reading a new book is like looking into a hole.

In the dark snowy night, the reader approaches houses with lights on and windows covered with paper.

Although I can roughly see the brightness of different houses, I don't know the structure inside, let alone what the owner is doing.

Only when you peek through the holes in the wall can you see the furnishings in the house; by carefully turning your head and looking through the narrow holes and taking advantage of the dim light in the room to see the layout of the room, can you see clearly what kind of house this is. Why is there light in the house?

When you see it clearly and feel relieved, you will knock on the door and push it open. Share this rare light in the snowy night.

This light comes from the bottom of my heart and is shared with all those who are willing to share it with me.

It is not a blazing light that can illuminate everyone like the sun; nor is it like a shadowless lamp in an operating room that can illuminate darkness.

It's just a lantern, a candle, a light bulb, the faintest light I can emit. But it's enough to light up this small room.

I hope you can see me through this light.

Reporting results: Now Mu Xu’s pursuit of students has exceeded 10,000.

This is without a doubt my highest-performing book in history.

Although my creative achievements are pretty good, I wrote five published novels before Mu Xu, with a total of more than nine million words, and three million-ordered books... but none of the three million-ordered novels have the first title.

Not a single one.

The achievements are all based on the subsequent stable plot and are slowly polished. And this book is my highest achievement in history since I wrote it.

It even makes me a little scared. I don’t know if I can maintain this hard-won achievement.

But at the same time, I feel proud.

Because I always adhere to the principle of "I don't know the development of the plot principle, even if the development is interesting, I will not write it." Sudden success for which you don't know the reason will only destroy your worldview. Therefore, I only write the parts that I understand, that I understand, and that I can reproduce.

And in the last book, the skills honed did come in handy!

Although some authors will say that they are practicing their writing after they hit the street, but before I opened the book "The Overturned Tower", I had already told everyone that I would write a book specifically for practicing writing... Mainly because I am writing about players. At that time, I felt that I was deficient in many places and could not write in many areas.

But at that time, "Player Super Justice" was being serialized, and the results were pretty good. I didn't dare to do anything fancy, for fear of ruining the book. Therefore, even if I have any new ideas, I don’t dare to practice them.

I firmly believe in a truth: If you don’t practice, you will never learn; just as if you don’t experience, you won’t understand.

So I recorded all the plots that I wanted to write but didn't dare to write, and were not sure whether the effect would be good or not, and used them to practice in "Toppled Tower".

In order to eliminate distractions, I also specifically chose subjects that I am not good at. It's simply to look at readers' reactions and comments on different plots, characterizations, and writing methods, and then make corrections.

It's like when you play a game of pinching your face, you have to give it a shaved head or a bald head first!

Among many themes, I chose science fiction because of my love for science fiction.

——You can still love even if you are not good at it!

I call this "eclectic idealism."

While having dreams, still pay attention to improvements and benefits.

Just like in the game, try to maintain strength while taking into account both coolness and beauty - not just about appearance, nor just about strength.

When I first wrote Mercury Blood, it was all instinct, without any outline or planning. There’s a lot of “if only I had done this” regrets. I also recorded them all, with the firm thought that "one day I will come back and find a venue."

I found it again when I was a player and wrote in a way that conformed to the public's aesthetics as much as possible.

And the player's performance is ten times that of Mercury Blood.

But as the players wrote, they also had new regrets. So this book was optimized again, and the performance was improved to four times that of players.

——As long as people persist in "effective learning" and repeatedly criticize themselves, they will really improve!

...Of course, in contrast, my health is getting worse and worse.

Now my schedule has changed to going to bed at 10:30 am and getting up at 5:30 pm. I write eight hours a day, and I feel like I’m about to soar.

The length of this book in outline is approximately two years and more than three million words.

I hope people will leave.

After finishing this book, I will take a break for at least half a year, or at most a year. I have made a reservation for a friend's villa in Wuzhishan, Hainan. Then the cat will go to the foot of Wuzhishan to recuperate as a monkey.

The more than one month of this break was simply not enough time. Although the outline, setting and inspiration were almost finalized in October last year, half of the month of rest was spent recuperating.

Clap your hands, the next step is the thank you session——

First of all, thank you friends for your recommendation. I will treat you to a meal when we meet again!

Secondly, thank you to my editor Canaan! Before this book was released, Canaan checked the setting and outline with me for a long time, which was of great help!

Also, I would like to thank my invincible operations officer and artist, [there is no food in the jar]!

Jar Jar is invincible - look at the covers of this book and the previous book The Overturned Tower, both were drawn by Jar Jar! Even the character designs of this book and the designs of various peripherals of this book were all handmade by her!

What kind of magical operating officer is this? Do you have one (loudly)

She held a lottery in the book review area and gave away some canned goods for free! Although the author cannot sell peripherals, if you don’t need any money, you can give them away for free!

——Of course I will pay for the postage! You guys will go check it out later!

Next, thank you readers for your tips!

Thanks to Fu Loli Tianzelu for feeding the Silver Alliance!

Since we met in Mercury Blood, Zeze and I have basically been feeding one to three alliance leaders every month. On the Maoke side next door, three silver alliances have been accumulated, while the players of Super Justice and Overturned Tower have both acquired a gold alliance, and the tower also has several additional silver alliances...

I’m really grateful to Tenze Beauty, I feel like I’m being taken care of.

Thanks to Yin Tian Shenyin, Li Tian X, Mood? ? The leader of Complex, Shadow Niyan, Cosmic Pigeon, Tchaikovsky Tarkovitch, Song of the Wind, Vera 0205, Ancient Shingen, and Saboga Coconut Feeding!

Thank you to the helmsmen of Cangjing Menghai, Diansi Level 4, and Yaodu Tingrichuo!

Thank you all for your tips, votes and subscriptions!

There has never been such a wonderful start (small fist clenched with stone)... This sentence seems unlucky, so forget it.

Someone asked me before, can you really study for two hours a day? In other words, how do you ensure that you can continue to study every day?

The answer is also very simple. And as soon as I say it, you will immediately know that this method is feasible-but probably not everyone can use it.

To put it simply, after I start working (that is, coding) every day, I immediately put down my work and read a book.

The strong desire not to work and the obsession to escape from work will push me to read as much as possible to kill time. At this time, when I escape into a space without the distractions of work, I will become very free and my learning efficiency will be extremely high.

It's like flipping through the textbook to check the answers when doing homework. But a strong desire not to do homework will push you to read more textbooks and flip through them carefully...Things you would never look at at ordinary times will become very sweet under this impulse to escape reality.

——When I was doing homework in school, in order to avoid doing homework, I would even hold the medicine bottle on the table and look at it for a long time, not to mention extracurricular reading!

Facts have proven that people will do anything just to catch fish. Anything can be done.

This book is inspired by a lot of books and a lot of games - cats only do two things at home when they are free, which is to either read books or play games.

I can’t count how many settings from the game are sewn into my book, but it should be a lot. My friend Yin Tian and I are different in nature. Writing books is happiness in itself, and writing is something he loves to do. But for me, writing is just a job that I am comfortable with, and my ultimate goal is still Reading books and playing games... and writing books is a by-product of overflowing inspiration after reading a lot of books and playing games.

Anyway, if it looks familiar, it’s a tribute! Thanks to all my favorite games including Granblue Fantasy, Final Fantasy, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Secret Cult Simulator, etc. that have inspired me!

Finally, let me share my book list. Someone has asked me about it several times before.

I originally wanted to wait for a suitable time to release it in one go - but I was too busy during the Chinese New Year and forgot to post it!

If you are a reader who doesn’t care about this, you can skip it. The following parts are basically irrelevant to this book and are about knowledge sharing~

The books given below have been serialized since "Player Super Justice" began in 2019, and up to now, I have read them, read them twice or more, and some books that I have read but not finished the first time. Four years of library!

By reading these books, you can probably tell the author's personal preferences.

I think this is also a means to enhance mutual understanding.

Here I not only share my favorite books with readers who like this book, but also share available creative materials and sources with author friends. If nothing else, these books should all be available, but they are not recommended books. After all, everyone is good at different topics, and the books I read are actually quite complex.

Of course, in order to avoid the suspicion of taking the opportunity to promote books, the online novels I usually read are not included.

The books here are not divided into top and bottom. They are not recommended books, just books that I have read. They are only brief reviews of books that I have read many times. They do not include books that I have read before but have not read in recent years. If I have read a book that is too mentally retarded, I will treat it as if I have not read it. Maybe the cache in my mind has been deleted. I will add the rest as soon as I remember the title of the book, and there may be some omissions.

Although it seems that not many readers will read this far. But as usual, I still have to end with that sentence...

Hope we can meet again tomorrow.

——May you always be happy.
