"Where's my wife?"

No words were able to come out of Mi Rong's mouth. This person must be Qing Qing's father and the husband of the woman who died in the explosion.

When Jun Kai did not get an answer from the woman in front of him. He grabbed her shoulders and shook her as he became more anxious. He then asked again.

"Where is my Ling-er, where is my wife?"

"Sigh, I am sorry sir, but she is gone."

"No." Jun Kai could not believe his ears. His legs strength left him and knelt down. The tears began to fall one by one. The pain was unbearable. No words could describe how he felt. The hope while he was rushing to the hospital to meet with his wife and child was gone. He cried while is hands covered his face.

Mi Rong felt sad for him and Qing Qing, but she had seen scenes of the people left behind crying for their loss many times. She could only comfort them. That was what she could only do.

So, she knelt down and pat the man who was crying non stop like a baby. Despite crying, he did not let out any sound while he cried. Mi Rong pat his head and back, like she was trying comfort a baby. However, Jun Kai did not feel anything as he was crying hard.

Time past, and when Jun Kai steadied himself and nudged the person patting him. Mi Rong then let go and checked on how he was and he answered with a slight nod, then stood up. She also stood up.

Jun Kai's gaze fell on the little girl who was sleeping soundly on the bed with mixed emotions.

Mi Rong then decided to tell Qing Qing's condition to him.

"Qing Qing broke her legs and must recover for a while in the hospital. When she woke up, she cried just like you and then went to sleep."

"Are you a doctor?" Jun Kai said it without looking at Mi Rong, his eyes was fixed on Qing Qing.

"No, just a nurse."

"Thanks, but now leave."

"Excuse me?"

Jun Kai saw that the woman was unresponsive to what he said so he turned his gaze to Mi Rong and said "I said, leave. What part did you not hear." He began to emit his extraordinary air of a ruler to make her understand her place and what she should do.

"Sorry, but this is also my room as well, I'm also a patient here so I won't be going anywhere." Once Mi Rong finished talking, she turned around and went to sleep on her bed. She was tired and this did even showed any signs of appreciation to her. She couldn't be bothered with him.

He then pulled the woman's wrist to get her to face him. This time he stared at her right in the eyes and coldly said, "Leave now, or you will regret not leaving this room when I gave you the chance."

Mi Rong irritably said "Let go."

"Leave." The room fell in silence. Once was emitting his coldness while the didn't bother.

Mi Rong smirked and used all the strength she had to kick the man on his side. She didn't want to kick the important part of his body as he was still Qing Qing's father. She had a clear conscience of who deserves to be kicked and where.

He was caught off guard and was unable to move in time. "Ouch." He shrieked louder than expected as it hurt greatly, there may be a bruise the tomorrow. The noise woke Qing Qing up.

"Papa? Rong jie? what happened?"

"Sweetie, you're awake?"

"hmm..yeah, hraaarh." Qing Qing woke up from all the noise coming from the two adults and yawned.

"Hmph, Qing Qing, I'm going to sleep now, the doctor should be coming soon." Mi Rong decided to let the two have some time together and she slowly felt sleepy. As she wasn't in her best shape and that kick took nearly all her strength. She also wanted to get away from that emotionless face. Mi Rong was a princess and was never afraid of anyone(except from her mother), so she was not afraid when Jun Kai tried to suppress her. He's acting like her Imperial father, but who was he to act like that, he looks way younger than her real age. He should call her 'jie' (sister). Tsk.

"Alright, Rong jie, but before you go this is my papa. His name is.."

Before Qing Qing could finish her sentence, Jun Kai cut his daughter off, as he was cautious of Mi Rong's identity. "Qing Qing, papa will introduce myself when the time is right, okay?"

"Uh, up to you. But then I'll introduce you to Rong jie, papa she's the one who saved my life."

"Oh, really. Now, sweetie can you tell me what happened."

(!?) Oh really!!! Just that and no thanks or anything? Seriously this person really doesn't know how to be grateful! Hmph.

When Mi Rong was about to reach her bed. Someone began shouting at the door, "Jun Kai! Come out right now and open this door." and "Tell your bodyguards to go away! I want to see Fei Ling." then "Don't let me tell grandfather!"

"Papa is that uncle Feng?"

"Hmm." Jun Kai then lazily walked towards the door.
