It was any others day, Soul just finished his training and is still waiting to get his first Pokemon.

Soul: 'Five more years'.

He thought when suddenly the backyard door opened, revealing his dad came out of it. He looked at Soul and smiled.

Father/Fred: Soul, the only kid I have been looking for! I have a question for you.

Soul looked at his dad weirdly, why would he look for him now? He didn't remember something important that going to happen on their calendar today.

Soul: Umm… ok?

His father then sniffed to the air and looked at him before saying.

Father/Fred: But go to bath first. You're sweating.

Soul looked at his father with a deadpanned expression, but did what he said and went to take a bath.

A few more minutes later, after Soul finished his bath, he came down again and saw his mom and dad sitting on a sofa.

His mom gestured him to sit next to her, so he walked next to her sat there. He then asked why he was here for.

Mother: Well… we have realized that you don't have any friends for your age and that's not good.

Again with the friend's stuff. What's the use of them, if you're going to travel alone anyways. But the next word his mom said, made him freeze.

Mother: So we have signed you up to Professor Oak Summer Camp. Surprised.

Mother: A Summer Camp.

Soul was about to refuse before his mom threaten him that, if he refuses to go to the summer camp, he's going to school, when summer is over.

He, who of course didn't want to experience school again, especially with this world time, had no choice but to accept their 'proposal'.

Right now Soul was in his room wearing a green t-shirt with a Magikarp logo on it. His had short black pants with sandals on his feet.

Getting ready his parents sent him away with a bag, that he and they have decided to bring with.

Soul wasn't really excited over this so-called 'Summer Camp'. But if it could give him a chance to see wild Pokemons and experience with camping outside of towns and cities, when he becomes a trainer.

Waiting with a group of kids, they all were instructed by Professor Oak to go inside a bus, that would drive them to the camping place, which would take about an hour or two to get there.

Annoyed by this, Soul couldn't do anything but do what the professor says and went in first and sat furthest behind the left seat after he and others belongings, would be taken care of by the driver.

Soon the bus begins filled with kids and none of them sat next to him until one particular girl did.

Soul: 'She seemed familiar now that I think about it.'

Cynthia: Hi, I'm Cynthia! Nice to meet you, what's your name?

Soul: Hello, nice to meet you, too, Cynthia. My name is Soul.

She nodded and sat next to Soul. He then came to realize that the girl, who sat next to him is actually Cynthia! The future champion of Sinnoh region.

Calming himself down, he looked out of the window. Not looking at her at all.

Seeing him do this, Cynthia felt a bit awkward, but shrugged it off and try to conversate with this boy named Soul.

Cynthia: So, Soul, do you like ice creams?

Soul who heard this looked at with some deadpanned expression before replying with.

Soul: Yes, I like ice creams.

Thinking for a short while, she finally came up with a good question to keep what left of their conversation with each other.

Cynthia: Hey Soul, do you know about the creation trio?

Soul who heard this, was now a little bit interested since he knew that Cynthia was fond of these legendaries Pokemon.

Soul: Ah, yeah. Dialga the Temporal Pokemon, Palkia the Spatial Pokemon and Giratina the Renegade Pokemon.

Hearing this Cynthia couldn't help felt surprised. Not many kids at her age knew of the creation trio. Must less here, but here there was one kid, who actually knew them? What a surprise!

She quickly kept herself from jumping from joy and quickly try to keep up the conversation.

Cynthia: Who do you like the most?

Soul: Giratina.

Cynthia: Oh why's that?

Soul: I feel bad for it. Getting banished because of one's aggressive nature seemed kinda bad reason for me. Plus peoples generations by generations kept forgetting about it like it never existed.

Cynthia who heard this was surprised yet again, but quickly nodded sympathy. Yes, even she felt bad for Giratina.

Both of them kept talking with each other on the bus tour. Mostly Cynthia who kept spamming him various questions that he had to answer.

After two hours, they finally made it to the Pokemon Camp, where Professor Oak and some other peoples would be there to keep an eye on them.

One thing for sure, Soul had gotten a new friend without noticing.
